Podd is actually my most favorite game of all time

you'd think that without the funny screen clear capabilities, limited bombs and the cost of a hyper, you'd have easier chance killing AI despite the smaller screen guess what fucker, difficulty in PoDD is actually significant for timers unlike in PoFV where it mostly makes bullets faster (except Easy which is big even in PoFV). Stage 6 through 8 in PoFV are all around 3:20 long, on both Normal and Lunatic (it actually does more to increase timers on Stages 1 through 5 than 6 through 8). PoDD though? On Normal it goes from 1:00 at Stage 1 to 2:20 at Stage 8. On Hard it goes from 1:00 to 3:40. On Lunatic... from 1:40 to 6:00. Who doesn't love six minutes of Chiyuri???

Monochrome ray in BpoHc is kind of a massive downgrade from the first 3 games. I like the idea of the ray focusing at the start and then fizzling out at the end but it's just so badly executed because the actual focused laser that should be in the middle between the "start focus" and "end fizzle" doesn't last long enough to feel powerful.
