Not related but I missed getting spell card bonus even if I used the bomb during the boss battle. As of Touhou 8, it's punishing the players for using the bomb and then end up spell card failed. It may or may not add up but then

@@azurill_sun Eh...it had good ideas as i really like the 2-player shooter thing, but as a PC-98 game it's really unbalanced and just rage inducing, imo. After i beat it on normal, i just shelved it for good, but you can enjoy the game

@@Dukstless Very original. I 1CC’ed 8 and 4 and on the road to 1CC’ing 7 and 6, lol. Maybe you just like games with programming/coding flaws People can like any game, and appreciate the flaws of that game (I do the same sometimes), but Touhou 3 PoDD just wasn’t done the best in terms of gameplay, objectively speaking. Despite that, I played and beat it anyway, and I didn’t like it (ignoring the solid music, story and memorable character design)
