I still get compliments quite often on my 323ci and 330i from people my age (50's) and also younger people. People still recognize these as good-looking cars. And they're still my favorite cars to drive. Was that a joke about the cup holders? My cars have them but they're an afterthought and completely inadequate. :) That was a common critique / joke about these cares even 25 years ago when they came out.

Oil on spark plugs means old valve cover gasket. Replacement is a relatively easy DIY job.
@joedoe2407Ай бұрын
My old spark plugs look very similar when I change them. I think they're fine. The oil at the bottom of the spark plug well is a hint to get your valve cover gasket replaced. This is a rubber gasket and it stiffens into hard plastic with time. Then it starts to sip through into the spark plugs and outside the engine.

Change valve cover gasket (with spark plug hole gasket rings or center piece) and all is good. It's way easier on E39/E46 than it was on my F10 530d... Although mine is a diesel and I don't have sparkplugs, but I have glowplugs and injectors, F10 requires a crap ton of work (relatively speaking) just to get to the valve cover and remove it.

@@jondoesaces I havnt done the crankshaft sensor yet but I'm thinking it has to be a vac leak or crank shaft sensor. Unfortunately my arms arnt thin enough to get up there so I'm gonna have to go in from the top which I belive is not a easy job.

You keep saying about how disappointed you are with the executive spec. Vauxhall never made an executive Zafira. What you have there is an exclusiv spelt without the e for some reason. This model is a fairly entry level model. The executive equivalent is called the elite. This is the spec you were hoping for the elite has the following Heated leather interior Cruise control Climate control Auto dimming rear view mirror Auto lights Auto wipers Alloy wheels Leather front arm rest Lumbar support Chrome pack Front and rear parking sensors Basically all the stuff you were looking for on your car thinking it was the executive version.
