The cooking plate that uses power only uses induction cooking pots/saucepan, to check which saucepan works on it,stick a magnet under the saucepan, if it attracts the magnet it's an induction saucepan and it'll work,if it repels the magnet,it'll either take hours to heat the saucepan or it will not transfer heat at all
