Hey! Great Videos! Can you give me any info on the pkg mail drops, where to mail, how to contact the locations etc. I'll be coming from the US, I've mailed to Scotland, Norway will be a new challenge I suppose. Thanks Bruce
@greifi72836 күн бұрын
@@brucerossi1970 I used the Norwegian Posten. Because the huts have a post box, they need to get notified that there is a package, so it is important to include their email and phone number in the address. I contacted them by email in advance and they were very fast to respond and super friendly. Have fun!

Hi! Thank you for your video. I was wondering, do you happen to know where or when you came across the green valley from 1:49? I am doing part MASSIV this year starting from Finse going north. Will arrive in Finse at midday, wondering if I should spend the night in Finse or if i'm able to reach campground by nightfall. Thank you for any tips. Been hiking in Norway for 6 years but latest trip was 4 years ago, i might be out of shape :-D

What an amazing hike, very impressed that you walked that far and in such terrain with those shoes. Thank you for sharing, much love from Norway :)

In this terrain we (who live here) always go for the high leather boots that reach almost halfway up to the knee, this is for added support and stability.
@greifi72832 ай бұрын
i do like having the flexibility too... ☺️
@lotuschamp77962 ай бұрын
@@greifi7283 Usually achieve this by only lacing them halfway up, so they then function sort of like normal shoes (still a little bit stiffer than normal)

Just a little suggestion: Mountain boots are made for difficult and slippery terrain. They are a little bit heavier, but much safer. And you might not get as wet. :)

yes, that is a big discussion, especially in the ultralight community 😃

Oh, my! After your episode 86 I was "away from the keyboard." Just came back, and was sorry to see that your knee required you to get off trail. At the same time, as difficult as it must have been, I'm glad you made the wise choice. I've been watching your videos since your departure from home and the start in Campo. They were always so enjoyable to watch. I've just noticed some new videos from Europe, so I guess that means you are feeling better. That's good news!! Looking forward to your further adventures. Thank you for bringing us along. As always -- 安全第一で頑張って下さい! Be safe; keep at it!

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Thank you for sharing your journey and making the effort to upload videos. That's added chores to do at the end of a big day of walking (or to fit in with town chores while you're running about washing and resupplying 😂) Thankfully you were able to pull the pin on your thru hike from a town and not in the middle of nowhere. Wishing all the best for future hikes.
