Pro tip. When mounting the plate to the frame, just measure to the first hole, screw that one in and adjust. Then mark and drill for the remaining holes. Also, it sure doesn’t look like he turned it 45 degrees

That body is way to far out to the middle of the door it should be closer to the edge otherwise the door wont open all the way

Did you ever hear of an air bag? Don’t waists your time with shims. Get an air bag. I’ve installed more of these hinges than anyone else where I work.

What does a the adjustment marked ‘P’ do?

At 6:50, the installer is using screws for a metal door and not wood screws. This closer will eventually be pulled out of the door. This door needs through bolts now because of this error.
