Correction - the aerial goes on the roof not the router - assume you got your wires crossed at 4:55 😅

Thanks for the video, been thinking of getting one of these for a while. When linking to a campsites Wi-Fi, does the Avtex broadcast the campsites Wi-Fi on the sites SSID (eg sample caravan park Wi-Fi) or does it take in the sites wifi and broadcast it back out on its own SSID - so you don’t need to change all your devices? Thanks

You can set it to look for the campsite WiFi in the ‘admin’ menu in the router. Instead of it looking for a mobile connection you can set it to hunt for a network. Just treat it as you would an internet connection at home, log on to your Avtex network as normal. I’ve used it several times via a sites connection as we mainly use CL’s which are usually quite remote with poor mobile reception.

Hi thanks for all the helpful vids. I've bought a twin axle caravan with a single powrtouch evolution move on but want to fit the same mover from my old van to make it awd. Can I pair 1 remote to the 2 boxes and is it the same procedure? Thanks again 👍🏻
@christhecaravanman25893 ай бұрын
Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. Yes you can. The boxes are identical so receive the same signal it’s just the wiring to the motors that is different.

Hi ya, found the manual for the AWD. www.powrtouch.com/wp-content/upload. Pages 18 & 19 are the ones regarding motor wiring. I’ll be filming a dedicated motor mover episode soon
I have wired both front wheels to box 1 and both rear wheels to box 2

Sent you box 1 with both front wheels

Ah right ok, the second box power the rear set of movers. A common issue is wiring as it’s not the same as the front box/set of movers. The rear wiring is slightly different, main power cables stay the same but the thinner motor cables need to be swapped, motor 1 fitted to motor 2 output and motor 2 to motor 1 output. They also need the polarity reversed too, so red to minus and black to plus. This should sort everything out.

Help please my motor power touch evo 4WD won’t go left or right but will go back forward thanks Chris
@christhecaravanman25893 ай бұрын
Try running the mover off of the wheels and note the direction of rotation. Standing on the side with the habitation door both rollers should go clockwise and anti clockwise on the other side. When turning the caravan to the right the habitation side pair of motor should spin as normal and the other side should speed up and slow down and visa versa when turning left. Have you had any work done on it?

You can find them at any caravan accessory shop or online at Amazon or eBay. Should cost around £12.

Hi Chris,when I sync my remote I get the green and red light flashing and remote goes through the set up until the right hand green led is steady, the green light on box is steady but when I press a button on the remote the red light doesn't flash and you can't hear the relays clicking this is the same with the umbilicle cord connected,would this be a remote or control box issue,many thanks Paul.

Hi Chris, I have the same system. In the remote however , only a tesco 9v battery will work. i have tries duracell, and two other good brands. All batteries had plenty of power , tested with my voltmeter. have you come across this before? I have also bent slightly the contacts in the remote thinking this may help, but to no avail. The tesco battery is slightly bigger in size which must cause it to fit better and therefore work. Regards
