Thanks for the video. I was wondering if those ram mounts set up the way you have them are solid enough for musky trolling?

Beautiful boat indeed. Is the 225 max HP? Big boat like that needs at least a 250 :)

I wish lund would bring back this interior just like the 1875. Shame they downgraded the 1775 command console which comes in the rebel 1650 X, side storage rod lockers are gone,etc. The newer 1775 is an adventure tiller. Call it that or bring back the 1775 pro guide like it was! 👍

why get this over the 219 glass lund? Both are about the same price. does this have more storage?
@WacondaBoatsKansasAndNebraska
@WacondaBoatsKansasAndNebraska 19 күн бұрын
Yes the Pro-V series has the most storage of any Lund boat. Your 219 is going to weigh more and handle rough water to an extent better than aluminum! This Pro-V series is top of the line right there with a fiberglass!

Couple questions....can I get a Trailmaster trailer instead? Yamaha power? Can taller vertical load guides be put on the Shorelander so not to make a crease in the side panels of the boat? (I've seen it happen)

I have a 2024 Pro V Bass 2075. The rock guard and travel cover go together fine on this boat. I expect some models fit different, but I'm happy with the way the rock guard goes on when I have the travel cover on.

Welds flex. Comparing a wing of an airplane to a boat is stupid. Nothing wrong with a riveted boat, but it’s a cheaper process than welding.

The crossover doesn't have a built in cooler option, however the large bow storage will fit a good size cooler. I've also had customers store their cooler in the center storage compartment....

High speed transducer should be lower than your SI. High speed transducer is partially sacrificial vs your SI so you want to protect it.

You're an absolute liar and con man. Tankers, Navy ships, commercial fishing vessels, etc,, have had welded hulls since before WWII. The last big ships with riveted hulls was the Titanic and her sister ships, that didn't work out too well. 😂🤣😂

I have owned 2 sport angler 2000.They were great for trolling. you couldn't give me an fisherman . They added a lot of useless stuff and cheapened up the hull. Whoever designed it obviously it was not a fisherman. Those doors on the rod storage won't last at all. And then adding that big live well in the back just stupid
@Moondog9322
@Moondog9322 2 ай бұрын
How was the hull cheapened up? As for rod storage doors.....the port side doors or the center rod locker? I don't understand why they don't make the storage doors lockable.

Welds do flex. The difference is all the riveted boats are made from very thin aluminum that comes in rolls. Welded boats are thicker plate. It’s very difficult to weld thin aluminum sheet and what these guys don’t tell you is that rivets are more of a function of using thin sheet rather than “we use rivets because they are superior”. On the other hand starting with material that flexes less (I.e. thick aluminum plate) is much stronger. Welds do have plenty of flex for this application and these boats run for decades without cracking. What you find on riveted boats is that the rivets will leak and flat unriveted areas will crack much easier. They don’t crack on the riveted areas necessarily but on the flexing flat bottom portions that see abuse. There’s a reason you see riveted boats in deeper rivers and lakes - they can’t take the abuse of the shallows that a welded plate boat. To recap: Thin sheet applications like airplanes and thin sheet boats, rivets are the only option because the thinner material flexes so much and because of the difficulty of welding thin materials. Using thicker materials makes a boat flex less and less prone to damage. The welds if done in the right place and in the right way are stronger than the parent metal. For example much of the design is formed on a break (bended) then welded on the corners inside and out making them thicker than the parent metal.

I don’t have a diploma but I do have welded stringers to the hull, and what you just stated about them one might wonder about hanging diplomas and their worth.
