Last year I bought my 1975 Tyee from Travis. I live about 10 hours away but he had it in stock and was a great person to work with. I’m about 90% pleasure boating and the Tyee is very comfortable and safe. Thumbs up to Travis and Waconda Boats.

Love it. I need the big water feel. Big lakes Michigan. This will be my other assignment.

I have a 2014 Tyee 2075 . I am surprised they still have plastic latches on both side lockers. I like that they added cleats to the bow deck very handy. I do not like the new gauge cluster because a lot of anglers want to mount 2 graphs side by side on the dash. A marine Deck type flooring option would be way better than the vinyl with snap in carpet for the cockpit area. Beautiful great lakes boat love ours.

We do install dual console graphs many times with the Tyee. We will mount the 2nd unit on a sport track just to the right of the console, usually on a ram mount. We prefer the snap carpet to the marine mat. The marine mat is very light. Have had issues of the mat blowing out during travel. We also find the snap carpet to be easier to clean than the mat.

I enjoy your videos. Unfortunately I live in Canada and cannot buy my next Tyee from you. Please comment on your decision to stock this model with the 225 vs 200 hp V6. You have the best Lund videos.

There isn't a huge price jump when moving from the 200 to 225. This 1975 is larger, and a little heavier than the older 1900 Tyee version.
