Just another one of the many adventures you get the family involved in, so good the kids are learning all the things you enjoyed as a child. We know how busy things have been over the last little while with all the daily routine on the farm, part time teaching and trying to enjoy life so thanks for sharing.

Happy new year 🥳❤You were in your element Bec and I absolutely enjoyed watching this vlog. Your dad was so religious checking the size of the crabs were compliant with the rules. Thank you for sharing this trip with us xx

Thank you for the comment! Happy NY 😊 Yes, we don't want to get any fines if Fisheries happen to check....plus have to make sure we don't over fish/crab, so we always have enough 😊

Nice lake but you should check out QLD Water and it's dams and lakes amazing I did not know Qld had so many and the one that is the town water supply for Mount Isa is huge as are a number of others. It is amazing how little most people know about our own Country and it often takes Visitors from overseas to show us just how good we have it like Handorf in South Australia charming Village with some Prussian background and the Beaches in Western Australia from the South all the way up best in the World without a doubt

Thinking of doing the IEC working holiday visa in canada after living in the US for 5 years (as I miss north america) and I can't believe how much canada has in common with the US! pretty much everything you said from the phone plans to the lollies, credit cards etc is the same as the US 😂 I mean, I guess it makes sense they're next to each other, but good to know I'm at least used to some of this stuff from my time in the US!
Can you guys please make a video on in what sense canada is better than australia and what sense australia is better ?

Australia has bad car crashes dosent matter if you are good driver that dosent mean shit people for a sleep or on drugs. Be alert on the road please. There’s idots on the road. Not long ago. A 6 year old wasn’t strap. In her seat her family slammed on the breaks the 6 year old flew through the windscreen on to the road and died that’s what happens when kids are not strap in I didn’t want to say this but be very smart

I lived for 5 years in Australia and I can make a list of things I didn’t like. One of things I hated most were the flying Cockroaches at night and Huntsman spiders in my bedroom. Then there was the heat. Try to work and sleep in it. I just couldn’t. Give me the crisp fresh Canadian air over anything I have breathed in.
@BecOutWest2 ай бұрын
Yes I miss the crisp air. Did you live on the east coast of Aus? We don't seem to have the cockroaches badly over in WA.... snakes and flies on the other hand....we have loads in summer ☀️ 😂

@@BecOutWest I lived around Sydney in the 1980’s. No heat and no aircon. It was rough.

I'm channeling my McLeod's Daughters now, love how you guys are right into all of this and how involved the kids are as well. You are raising another generation of farmers/ranchers. I find your enjoy watching your videos and learning about farming, a girl raised in the city but from a very agricultural area and got a chance to be exposed to a bit of farming/ranching in my early 20's when we moved to an area with a population of 40,000 and many of those I worked with were farmers/ranchers. Keep up the good work.

Found your page on the Homesteaders Australia Group :) I don’t t think we are too far from you guys. I heard you mentioned Dowerin and we are in York. I love doing sheep work. I think shearing day would have to be one of my favourite days of the year. The kids love getting involved too. Look forward to watching your journey :)

Oh fantastic!!! We are very close. We plan on buying our own farm in York in the next year or two. We love it there. We're currently on Dads farm atm. He works away so we get the run of the place. Great for starting out again since our move to Canada and back again! I love working in the shearing sheds...but glad we have self shedding sheep for ourselves haha. Thanks for following along!

good job for first time. I have watched sheering but never have done it myself. I definitely get the having to wear about a thousand hats when you are a mom and work and farm etc. It is a lot for sure. take care and make sure to do something for yourself even if it just rest and rejuvenate.

I really love your videos, about daily routine in a sheep station. Me and my husband worked in a cattle, sheep and goat station for a year in Qld. We definitely loved it. As foreigners we had to go back in our country (France) but currently planning to move back to Australia for long term as we loved the country and the outback lifestyle. Such a pleasure to see all your videos, I feel so nostalgic but I love it. Happy for you that you made your dream come true 🥰 looking forward to see your next adventures with sheep and station management

Thanks for watching ! Werr in Western Australia and not on a large station...just a regular farm. It's actually my dads farm. We live here for now and plan on buying our own again soon.
