That is a Athearn TTX flatcar I repainted, decaled, and detailed myself. The decals came from CMR Products, and the new detail parts (Containers, Domes, Railings) came from a variety of sources including Ebay, Tangent Models, and Tichy.

Jimmy, I don't know how you missed this but the RR in Chapter 3 is the Union Southern and it acquired the Pacific Southern not the other way around! In the future, please double check your information before posting. Thanks for your attention, I've got to get back to work to my real job on the FSX Railway.

And the newer ones should have a spot for a speaker, but not always. The newer sd40t-2 models , no not have a speaker ready spot, like the regular sd40's do have. The 21 pin decoder is easy to plug right in, but speakers can be a little more work sometimes.

What to do if there is a faintly raised grill or door lines from a 3d printed locomotive... In real world, logos are applied with large decal wraps.

Once she’s restored again, I wonder if she could run at Strasburg? 611 gets to run there, so why not 1361? Imagine if both of them were there at the same time!
@jimmylambert870925 күн бұрын
I strongly suspect the opportunity to bring both surviving K4s together is too tempting to pass up. Beyond that I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of the RMM and Strasburg working out the details on how to split ticket revenue and whatnot.
@chooch176422 күн бұрын
The Railroaders Memorial Museum has great communication and dialogue with multiple short lines and tourist railroads in and outside of Pennsylvania. Western Maryland Scenic Railroad has expressed interest in having 1361 visiting Cumberland, Maryland.

Solid video as always - I always manage to learn new things from your vids, I had no idea 1361 kicked the bucket like *that*. My club has a representation of Horseshoe Curve, and due to the era it's set in, it also has a 1361 stuffed and mounted in the middle.

It's a Roundhouse model from about 2008 or so that the railroad sold in what was then their hobby shop. They haven't carried them for years but they crop up now and then on Ebay. They tend to go for between $80 and $120 each now.

I had the same issue with mine, bought one of the Tsunami mobile decoders, wouldn't fit. Ended up swapping a Digitrax 8 pin with a long harness into it and giving my Walthers SW1 the planned decoder, which also barely fit. Just wait till you get a Bachmann Pannier, THAT was fun to fit a decoder into!

What engines normally pulled the train or still do?
@jimmylambert8709Ай бұрын
Depends on the train. Throughout the days of steam Canadian Pacific used anything from a 4-4-0 to a 2-10-4 "Selkirk" in passenger service, not to mention the Hudson types the Railway is oft remembered for today. After that it was mostly F unit diesels I believe, with the modern Royal Canadian Pacific tour train usually being pulled by FP9 diesels.

Those weathered SP units are gorgeous! Also I like to think the food synthesizers are only capable of making British Rail ham sandwiches.

I think it was Lima that did it years ago, but someone made a Class 37 in a Police livery. If you can get a hold of one it would go perfect with the Sheriff. Although it is so old you may have to hardwire DCC.
