Great movie.

We get so used to songs that we listen to and sing without truly thinking about the words and their meaning. Truly listening to the words of God Bless America brings tears to my eyes.

We were allowed to stay up late on Saturday nights to watch Chiller , used to scare the crap out of us , we loved it.

The original Ironside theme has more of a Big Band arrangement and through the first three or four seasons Quincy Jones tweaked the electronics on the opening measure before the gunshot. Then in 1971 he does the complete uptempo jazz remix and that's when it truly became iconic. There was even an episode in which the full new version was played out during an extended scene ("Unreasonable Facsimile" [1972] with Burgess Meredith).

First time seeing this at age 62, guess we were a March of the Wooden Soldiers family. Initial reaction is that this version is all about the LOUD orchestra, getting a las vegas vibe, enjoy to those who love it!
