"Ups defy gravity. Gravity is a law. I OBEY the law." Genuinely one of the wittiest, well-delivered lines of comedy you will see at any point in human history. Damn he was great.

I guess the only up he does and excels is stand-up comedy 😂 I’ve never found stand-up comedy that funny, I would smile, but I’ve never belly laughed. However this guy made me belly laugh in every clip I’ve watched. I’ve just discovered him a few days ago and I’m addicted. I lost it at the part where he talked about his trainers getting into drugs and alcohol or opened a candy store 😂😂😂 Very sad that he’s no longer with us. RIP John.

I am still watching the reruns every day and it never gets old. It's the funniest show ever. I feel the same way about That 70s show. Seinfeld is pretty pathetic comparatively. Most of Seinfelds is just stupid.

This show has to be one of the worst shows ever. It takes humanity back before people became enlightened to the audacity of gender roles. The relationships and themes are appalling. You’ve got the father who constantly makes derogatory remarks to and about his wife. You’ve got the same father who takes pride in the fact that he’s been a lousy father. The two seniors play roles that are not funny. Ray Romano plays an immature, bumbling husband who doesn’t want to spend time with his children. He’d rather be golfing. Nor does he do anything around the house to help. Debra is the only one showing any level of intelligence with her character. Robert’s weird forced sounding voice sounds ridiculous and grating. The mother plays favourites with her sons, a theme that bores me to tears. It’s horrendous! I saw the cast members on Oprah and thought my god, how is she going to handle the ridiculous themes on this show with the cast. Whoever co-erred Oprah into having this shows cast on is beyond me. What the hell was she going to say. The themes on the show go against Oprah has stood for. The cast members sat there excitedly, pleased with themselves. I’m sure they’re decent people but my god, how the hell did they pull off that mess for so long. No one was funny. I’ve seen the show a few times with my clients. It’s a fuck up. The only time they played normal intelligent people was on the show they did when they went to ltaly! Unfortunately for some odd reason, they had Ray playing a childish, moody ‘man’ up until the day before they left when he finally portrayed a grown man. Even the parents had a great time and for the first were respectful of one another. The shows a train wreck, but hey, a lot of people like it. The show undermines everything we’ve worked to change as a civilized society where the female lead spends all her time cooking for and dotting on her crude husband, Ray acts like a six year old and poor Robert gets stuck with a demeaning role with that put on voice. I’ll never understand why some people find it humorous.
