Planet Ayurveda's herbal hair oils are the best! I've tried so many other products, but nothing compares to their quality and effectiveness.

Tips for trimming/cutting the hair? I don't want tons of layers because it ruins my braids. Just long healthy hair. I don't trust hairdressers anymore. I have thick wavy hair. I'm part mapuche by blood.

This is the best, simplest hair trimming video I have come across so far. I used your technique and my hair was nice and straight. Sticking to this from now on!

Hi, I'm mixed race, half white and half native (sioux), and I haven't really been aware how to properly take care of my hair, since it's kind of weird mixture of both my father's curly/wavy hair and my mother's hair (never knew what her hair was like, this is from other people's assumptions) I've been wanting to properly take care of my hair for a while now since I haven't met anyone else who's native to teach me how to properly take care of it, your videos really help me out!

I am Cherokee Choctaw, Chickasaw, Aztec, French and Irish, but never got to meet any of the Native American side of my family other than my grandma and mom but my mom is Native American and meso American and French Irish but I was raised by the Mesoamerican side of my family my dad’s side So I never got to learn about my hair or anything and to make it harder. I have mixed hair long, thick, black, curly hair. I’m growing it out for the first time this year I haven’t cut my hair in half of a year it’s finally starting to fall down the sides and I’m able to see a lot more of my native features now and I’m trying to get more in touch with my ancestors and learn how to take care of my hair. Thank you for this video and don’t worry I’m bad at English to😂 I was raised in Texas and have developed a very thick Texas accent so you can’t understand what I’m saying most of the time😂.

What type of accent do you have? It sounds like a country accent to me. From a Texan/American hearing ear.

I never heard of these hair products you use...I'm a Black Native; I have Kinky Straight Hair, I shampoo my Hair, and use Oil @ the same time, I use Dawn Dish Soap, and Jojoba Oil @ the same time, and after I'm done I get the excess water out, use Jojoba Oil Leave-In In Conditioner, and use Vaseline, and style it...

Yes, don’t brush or comb your hair out while it’s wet when you have straight hair, but you have to brush/comb your hair out while wet when you have curly hair. I just wanted to let some people know incase they are confused.

You’d probably be better off wrapping your hair at night with a silk scarf. The towel is absorbing a lot of that oil. But maybe the towel absorbing the oil is part of the magic?

I'm 1/8 Chickasaw, which doesn't make me feel like a full blood Native American, but it's enough to count. I have this idea as a way to promote Native American tourism. Picture a Native American warrior with his face painted and put on a poster, and next to that image write these words, "The American Indian. His soul still drifts across the plains. Once again this proud warrior lifts his head, to dance with spirits that still haunt the earth." I don't know if this is a good idea, but it is worth thinking about.

Ok so for the two kinds of oil you use, do you leave them on overnight and wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner next day? So how many times do you oil your hair a week, how long do you leave it on and do you shampoo it off each time?

I had been putting my hair up in a bun with a scrunchie - loosely - but it caused my delicate underside hair to start breaking so I stopped. I’m going to get a silk head scarf/bonnet.

Girl, with hair down to my thighs, I felt this tutorial. I have been getting a lot of breakages and I am seeing a bit of thinning so I have been doing pig tails for a few weeks now and I found a new hair treatment, fingers are crossed it helps my long, long, ridiculously long hair thicken back up!!! Thanks for the video, your hair is beautiful!!!

This shampoo and conditioner keeps it from frizzing, and my natural curls have come back with using these products! Can’t wait to try some of the other products you recommended.

My great grandmother was Native Cherokee. I am also part Scottish Irish. I have always had super long hair. It is down to my thighs. I am almost 60 and have went to great lengths to keep it healthy and to find products that are good and healthy. I also use oils in my hair. I enjoyed your video and will look into the products you mentioned. Thank you
