Black on ends if not cut fresh they are frozen, which their fries were and old grease.

@@collettetaylor1508 I should've been more specific. You are correct. Unless it's a very high end place, fresh cut fries are hard to keep, and at least here in America is very normal to have frozen fries that are then deep fried. Unless they're hand cutting to-order(to cut down on waste), which takes up a lot of time during a ticket rush, especially for dinner, and any excess would have to be thrown out. While I don't see it as a huge issue in a higher-end restaurant, in a diner or even mid-grade restaurant I would expect frozen fries.

@@SkanRashke lol its hard to keep fresh fries? what? We have Fish and Chip shops aka chippies all over the UK that doesnt have a problem cutting potatoes in a morning and keeping them fresh in water. They have massive tubs of them (think the size of dustbins) in lightly salted water. It doesnt have to be a high end eatery to keep fresh chips. You just cut an amount that will last you 3 or 4 hours, keep them in water and when youre about to run out, chuck more potatoes in the chipper.

@@MrBVapeApe Depends how long you're open, cutting fries in the morning is fine but if you're open 24 hours they're definitely gonna get that brown tint to them by the end of the day. Frozen fries don't bug me, fresh fries are cool but they aren't the end all be all

Breakfast all day is big in the United States and some build your own omelettes and some basic Bacon or sausage egg and Cheese biscuits and croissants are always welcome!!!! Many folks still like Bacon or sausage and eggs cooked to order and hashed browns or home fries and Toast or biscuits and gravy or English muffin or pancakes and OJ and coffee for breakfast. Bagels too are popular especially everything bagels, regular and blueberry. Especially for a kids menu but adults love it too.

I like that Cal takes responsibility. Peter is worthless. But when you pay a staff it is on them too and they have totally taken advantage of a man already stretched beyond his snapping point and still holding on while a worthless brother takes money and then helps his fiance in her restaurant instead of his family whilst wearing a Rolex and big gold ring. Shameful. I wish G would take a trip to the fiance's restaurant and see how much better it is and if I were a betting woman I would bet it is a whole lot cleaner and doing much better.

His first thought after G mentioned the basement was what did we miss. YOU MISSED THE BASEMENT!!!!!!! I don't like going out to eat anymore after watching the previous episodes of this show and now this new one. I always want to ask if I can see the kitchen when I do. I am a fully trained food service worker and I am frightened of what I am going to find. I have one place in my little town called Gondola's that has been family run for years and the food is always good and reasonably priced and they take pride in everything. Anybody who visits Crossville Tn can feel safe eating at Gondola's on Main Street in Crossville. Also Vegas Steakhouse. The families are Greek, related and proud. The restaurants have been open for years. I worked at Vegas and literally the motto was if you have time to lean you have time to clean. We went over and over the same already sparkling surfaces and the coolers and freezers were day dotted and the highest standards are always in place.

One of my greatest memories was a school trip to Paris where me and a few mates snook off to have a wonder without the teachers watching us like hawks. We stopped at this tiny hole in the wall cafe and I didnt have a bloody clue what anything was. So i pointed at the menu at Coq Au Vin and the waitress smiled with this look on her face like "oh youre about to learn something today". It came with a freshly baked baquette and fresh butter and my god, it was the most amazing meal ive ever tasted in my life. It was a cold drizzley day too which made the experience even better. Ive never even come close to getting that meal as good as that was and ive tried soooooo many times lol

I like how the producers hired a disabled person as camera operator. Neurological issues like cerebral palsy are the only explanation for awkward shots like this. 🤔 I suppose it could be a timetraveler from the nineties. They've come to establish the Shaky Cam as official cinematic style of 2024
