This episode - more than any other - shows Gordon's entrepreneurial mindset. Find the market, then cater to it. He may not be the world's best chef, but he's definitely in the top five restaurateurs.

I am grateful that you uploaded this and I enjoyed watching but one thing I would suggest is that I think silence is better than loud incongruous music to hide the DMCA content. People can still read the subtitles in those sections if they want to know what is being said. It could also damage some people's ears if they are using headphones as well.

You could cook one menu halfway proficiently? Gordon's training in these scenarios is highly menu-specific. If you don't know how to make a basic veloute, you still won't know how. If you don't know how to clarify a consomme, you still won't know how. Gordon gives these restaurants a path to success, but these cooks are still just lowly line cooks.

Just pretend it never happened, maybe run your finger over a burner to cauterize if you're bold, but either way put on a bandaid/gauze, then a finger condominium and a glove. Honestly, cutting your *thumb* is just a warning sign of poor skill. If your thumb gets in the way of your knife, you done screwed up.

I once got a chicken burger in a restaurant that literally smelled like someone had shit on it, we kinda figured out it was the 'special' sauce so I asked for another one without the sauce. they just scraped if off and brought it back... it just smelled slightly less of shit and it now had a rotten tomato on it... I didnt touch it and my mum wouldn't let me complain anymore... sooooo... I found every review site and blasted it... next time we went it was a Wagamama XD
