We either need to measure by weight or measure. A cup doesn’t have always weigh the same-it can depend on whether it’s packed into the measuring cup as how much a cup weighs. Could you give your measurements in weight OR cups???

I have been baking this pound cake for about 40 years. It’s a must for my youngest daughter’s birthday every October. This cake is always a favored welcome. It’s delicious, y’all! It’s a Southern tradition! Fresh strawberries or raspberries with fresh whipped cream or even clotted cream takes it over the top. Enjoy!
