If the ac is slow to make the car cooler that means it only affects electric cars in this matter. Since BYD cars have the same issue about ac cooling

Hi Gilbert. Thanks for your great sharing. I'm planning a trip down to perth in may, and i have 3 adults, 2 kiddos which will require a child seat each. The way i see it, i should be having about 2 L size luggages, 1M and maybe 2 cabin ones. Do you think all of that can fit the Model Y? I personally drive a Honda Civic in SG, so there are many who have told me the transition to EV will take me some time. One thing about Tesla is most told me if i decelerate, the car will feel like a sudden brake. I too plan to stay in perth city for a few days before going down to busselton / MR.

There are a lot more chargers on the East coast of Australia where you don’t need to plan much at all. However as soon as go inland yes you do have to plan carefully.

Oh thanks for the heads up! in fact I know what you talking about when I was using the plug share app as well and I wasn't too worried as well. in fact I wanted to go Albany but the drive is a little too much for my children and seem like charging can be a little challenging as well. = )

Thanks for the video! Now that you have tried both ICE and EV in Perth, which one would you recommend?
@twenty3press3 ай бұрын
Hi @randalltanch glad you like the video! in fact I just did a video reviewing my experience with renting Model Y with Sixt in Perth. you can check it out as well. For sure renting an EV in Perth is definitely viable and cost saving as well. Subscribe, like and enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5STm6SJipJ7hsU

Correct me if I am wrong, but the unlocking feature for longer range option does not apply to our models as it is from China using the LFP battery. The one that Elon referred to is the one using the Li battery which is similar to the MY LR.

@twenty3press6 ай бұрын
Hi! glad you like the video! haha I rented my car from SIXT and from this website call www.discovercars.com best if you can book it as early as 3-4 months. the rental pricing tends to go higher when nearing your dates. before covid it used to be the opposite.

Remember you can use voice to set most of the controls like AC, When you need to use the screen I wait until I am at a stop. I don't think its a good ideal to risk other peoples live for my comfort.

What’s the proper way to close my model Y trunk lid if I’m carrying a box that sticks out the back? Is it better to attempt to close the lid so that it maintains pressure on the box? Or, should I adjust the maximum opening height down to the level of the box and just leave it open?

Wow haha I think what I will do it wrap the pointy tip with a cloth at least in case it scratch the back glass

I agree with you mostly. My AC doesn't seem as cold as my previous gas cars and when it's turned up, it's loud. Like how I can set the temperature before going somewhere and it will cool the car before I get in to leave. FSD? I don't get it. So many people with Model Ys are using Supervised with all the features. I paid for this month and can only get 11 Beta wo Park Assist and no Summon. Disappointing. I wonder when I park my car close to a business that I drive to if the car will allow anyone to open the door if it can still connect to your Bluetooth while you're inside. Other than that, no issues so far. Loving my car. Fun to drive. Car is quiet, but lots of road noise on bumpy roads.

Hi there ! Love your videos. How many days does it take to complete the entire itinerary?
@twenty3press6 ай бұрын
Hello! I’m glad that you like the video! This whole itinerary took about 10 days. But we took it slow. About 2-3 location a day but I think the most importantly to truly enjoy Perth, really look out for their beauty of the nature. Because it wasn’t our first time there but it was our first time with our children and only realised we missed out so much things because when we were younger we squeezed in as much. Haha.

Thank you for the video. You can change / adjust the AC using voice commands.
@twenty3press6 ай бұрын
Oh right! Thanks for that. I am still getting use to the voice command. Previously I alway use Siri and Siri actually learns your tonality and al. But used a few time on the Tesla. They don’t catch as well. So probably forgotten about that voice command. 😂
@jacksonhui5816 ай бұрын
Maybe get your ac system checked. I recommend directing the air via the windshield so it bounces off and directly at you. AC cooling is one of the strongest parts of the interior. Also, you can precool the car before getting in.

Hi! Which month did you go and do you know if December is a bad month to go in terms of weather being too warm? Like the week of and before Christmas
@twenty3press10 ай бұрын
Hi hi! Honestly I’m not sure how bad Dec will be. So far my kids is still young and I didn’t have to follow the Dec hols timing. From what I understand Dec is still good. When we went during March I felt it was really burning on our skin. So have to put a lot of sun block/ wear long sleeves or just make sure don’t expose yourself too much. Haha cause all of us came home sun burned without realising. So I’m guess Dec will still be good as well. As for Christmas I think there is a lot of activities going on in Perth City. In fact you find in KZbin ‘Perth city Christmas’ there is a lot of parades and all. From what I see they all look mostly locals. All these I learned from just watching a lot of KZbin video haha. Never experience myself. Hope that helps!

Thank you!!! :) Another question: Did you rent a car from the airport itself or from the city?@@twenty3press
@twenty3press10 ай бұрын
@@debsmethermark8884 Hello again! I rented the car from airport because with kids and luggage, it’s really hard to travel to city to collect car. And returning is also easy. But do take note that the rental price will be higher cause of some airport surcharges. I use this website as I find it the cheapest rate by far. www.discovercars.com

Hi, your video is really great! I’m planning to take my 2 kids on May, and your video is such an amazing reference for a roadtrip! May I know how many days did you spend for the roadtrip only? I can only spare 4days for the roadtrip and wondering if it’s doable to follow your itinerary..
@twenty3press10 ай бұрын
Hi hi! We spent 9 days actually 😄 first half of 3.5 days was at Margaret River and then 3.5 at Swan Valley and then remaining 2 days I stayed in City hotel. If you only have 4 days I would suggest u can do your road trip within Perth region to swan valley area and Fremantle area

Oh glad to know you enjoyed it! Hoping to create more of such memories if time and money permits haha. Our travel to Australia usually about 9-10 days. A lot of these places we already visited before but never get the chance to document it down. So that’s how I could visit so many places within 9 days. 😊

I’m so glad you uploaded another video and happy that you guys enjoyed your second time this year in Australia! Don’t mind us taking some ideas from you itinerary especially puffing Billy. Would you say that there’s less driving in your trip to Perth earlier this year than in Melbourne recently? Were trynna do a MEL-PER itinerary and may only go for 4D3N in Melbourne

Hey! Glad u like it haha. Feel free to copy the itinerary as much as you like. Posted it so ppl can have easier planning as well. For the puffing billy there are a few routes u might want to take note. And they can be very popular during certain period. In fact we booked puffing billy 3 months in advance and we almost couldn’t get a date.
