Overwhelmed by too much to do? Seriously? That’s on you as you let that get into your head. Pricy? Whaaat? Have you been on. Silverseas, Crystal, or any other high end cruise? I am guessing not. They make Virgin look like a super bargain. Go back to Carnival or Disney.

@@NimNimNimTO - Virgin is great as you said. I have been a couple of Virgin cruises and have two more scheduled. We get a fairly large cabin in the back corner of one of the decks with a huge deck. I really like it. Also have a Crystal Cruise coming up. I'd say you are fine - do the best you can.

I have to agree - we booked our first VV and the price was the same as our first NCL cruise in 2012 (both balconies, BUT we got a $1k obc with VV, which makes it huge a deal for us!)

Or booking while still on the voage. We have been doing that since our first. Prices are significantly lower, completely worth it.

We are 64. We are Sapphire on NCL and Diamond on RCCL, but our favorite now is Virgin Voyages! We have been on 12 VV cruises and have 7 more booked. So much included in the rate (WiFi, gratuities, ALL restaurants, sodas & water, specialty exercise classes, and more). Did I mention no kids! Best food I have ever had at sea. Hammocks on the balconies. Diverse and happy crew who are allowed to show their personality (visible tattoos, comfortable uniforms, and staff in all ages, shapes, colors, sizes, and sexual orientations). Yes, we are 64 years old, so don’t believe the rumors that it is just a sexy party ship. There are fun parties to be found, for sure, but also relaxation and easy going fun as well. Shows are unique and energetic and they think outside the box. A note to all prospective Sailors, don’t listen to people who have never tried it; check it out for yourself. I believe that you will be very glad that you did! My tip would be to arrive with an open mind and an open heart and the staff and the fellow Sailors will welcome you with open arms! ❤️

I will never cruise with any other cruise line after sailing on Virgin. First class all the way, especially if you are a Rockstar! Already booked our third voage.

Yes, tons! You'll have to be quick though, some items went quick and sometimes were not restocked (ex. The desserts)

Best to go to the buffet early! (Earlier than we did) You get the best selection at that time and better presentation and availability of food.

Yes they do have vegetarian food options! If you're looking for a wider set of options I recommend going to their buffet. Regarding food from outside the ship: You're allowed to bring: dry, packaged and commercially produced foods.

Yes to both! You can see the menu starting at 04:48 in the video. We didn't try the salmon bagel but we had the egg benedict. Unfortunately the benedict wasn't great but the excellent buffet made up for it.

@@Limitless_ViralContent In the buffet there didn't appear to be eggs benedict. There was smoked salmon but not in a bagel dish. However, you can always make it yourself as they have various breads available!

Just got off MSC Divina, 4 day 3 night Miami to Miami. Food was pretty good. Price was great. Best steak I ever had at Butcher's Cut. Service was good. Ship is getting dated. Weekend hook-up cruise out of Miami to private Island and Nassau. Pretty fun. Pools were cold for a 61 year old guy. One hottub was good for me. Room was fine. Getting off was a line for 2 hours and almost missed my train. WARNING WARNING...Get off the boat early. DO NOT STOP FOR BREAKFAST if you have a connection. No connection?...Get breakfast and let everyone else leave. You will get off at 11:30 or so. MSC does a good job of giving you more than you paid for. Do not buy a drink package. Pick one bar and tip well. You will do fine. I suggest the cigar bar (no smoking there). Find "The Bearded Clam" bar in Nassau for conch fritters.

The food experience with Virgin was something we have not seen with other cruise lines. They put so much thought and care into everything! We also were skeptical about the eggs but in the end everything was delicious! Thanks for watching :)

Is there anything in the main dining room that costed extra? Or was everything on the menu included in the regular dining price. I know they have specialty dining that’s separate but I wanna see if I can get steak that’s included without having to do specialty dining.

Yes there is, if you pause the video at 1:50 , there is a "Steakhouse Selection" of items that cost extra. You can get steak though without paying extra. The New York Strip Steak for example is included 🙂

@@chelleygirl11 You're welcome! I found that the steak though unfortunately was not too good. It was almost like minute steak instead of New York Strip Steak. That being said, MSC still had excellent food overall but the Main Dining Room was a disappointment compared to their Buffet food which was better.

I know the Dole pineapple factory was a total waste of time! Time is money here in Oahu. Want to make sure this place is not a waste

Thanks for your input. We actually quite enjoyed the Dole Plantation. We could see how it might not be for everyone though; its not the most high level thrill experience but still enjoyable.

That it was! The cleanliness was incredible. You can tell a lot of care was put into the rooms down to the fine details. The only bugs you may see are outside the room but thats Hawaii no matter where you are. No cockroaches though on site here!

Went to school at BYU-HC back in early 70's, and worked at PCC while a student there. ❤ their chicken at the buffet there! All the local hawaiian food prepared fresh there daily was awesome! 😋😋 Miss those days! 😘
