Great video that explains the food very well. Can I ask how much the drinks package cost, if you bought one that is?

Thank you! We didn't get the drinks package. When we went, they were heavily promoting. It has changed recently from when we went. The pricing correlates to the length of the cruise (so the longer cruises you'll pay less per day versus a shorter one) as well as which tier package you buy.

Is there anything in the main dining room that costed extra? Or was everything on the menu included in the regular dining price. I know they have specialty dining that’s separate but I wanna see if I can get steak that’s included without having to do specialty dining.

Yes there is, if you pause the video at 1:50 , there is a "Steakhouse Selection" of items that cost extra. You can get steak though without paying extra. The New York Strip Steak for example is included 🙂

@@chelleygirl11 You're welcome! I found that the steak though unfortunately was not too good. It was almost like minute steak instead of New York Strip Steak. That being said, MSC still had excellent food overall but the Main Dining Room was a disappointment compared to their Buffet food which was better.

Yes they do have vegetarian food options! If you're looking for a wider set of options I recommend going to their buffet. Regarding food from outside the ship: You're allowed to bring: dry, packaged and commercially produced foods.

Did they have egg Benedict and Salmon Bagel?

Yes to both! You can see the menu starting at 04:48 in the video. We didn't try the salmon bagel but we had the egg benedict. Unfortunately the benedict wasn't great but the excellent buffet made up for it.

@@Limitless_ViralContent In the buffet there didn't appear to be eggs benedict. There was smoked salmon but not in a bagel dish. However, you can always make it yourself as they have various breads available!

I would imagine MSC does this to ensure all passengers in their assigned dining seats can speak the same language while having dinner. It would be kind of strange and unpleasant to sit at a table where you can't speak to each other because there is no common language. We applaud them for making an effort to do this.
