Does this make any difference if the GPU's connector is 12v-2x6 but the PSU and PSU cable are still 12VHPWR?

Yes, there is a difference even if the GPU's connector is 12V-2x6 while the PSU and PSU cable remain 12VHPWR. The 12V-2x6 connector is an updated version of the 12VHPWR standard with improvements, particularly in safety and durability.

Hello, I have a EZDIY-FAB 5v ARGB to 12v RGB converter, but it does not show up in any of my RGB software. I've tried holding down the Mode button to put it into mobo mode, but it doesn't work. Please help.

I bought one of these and it heats up. Is that normal? It's not hot enough to worry about. For now. However, have you guys done any endurance testing on these?

its transferring power from the power supply to the gpu, i believe it should normal for it to warm up during use

Thanks for this video. My set of fans contained now instructions in regards to power and the picture suggested you had to connect a SATA power connection AND the 5v 3 pin connector to the motherboard which I don't have available. Was super happy to see it's actually one or the other. Not both. Thanks!

yes, but I don't think the motherboard supports DDR2 memory would contain argb header, you might need to get an argb controller.

The RGB on mine just suddenly stopped working when i turned on my pc. It worked flawlessly before. The fans are connected into the Hub that comes with it. Any help would be appreciated

With Asus TUF H310M Plus Gaming Mobo (Rev 1): I have a spare CHA_FAN (4 pin, max 1A/12W, i.e. 12V) and a 4pin RGB header (12V). I can’t use the RGB connector due to voltage difference, but can I still use the CHA_FAN to get pwm function?
