Thanks for this video. My set of fans contained now instructions in regards to power and the picture suggested you had to connect a SATA power connection AND the 5v 3 pin connector to the motherboard which I don't have available. Hello the fans are great but some how did realize that I have a 12 v 4 pin. I’ve been trying to locate the converter that you make but can’t find it anywhere. Can you make a video on the product and let us know when it will be available again. Really prefer to just keep the fans.

There's a few videos on the moonlight versions. I believe one is the 6 pack and the other is a 5 pack pwm video. I'm purchasing the pwm as they're higher rpm and I'm running an air system.

I’ve just installed 4 of the fans onto my msi b450 tomahawk max but I can’t get them to sync with mystic light or see/control fan speed. Fan port 1 is occupied on the control so it should pick it up. Is there a specific installation needed or is it not fully compatible?

Hello, I bought 2x5-pack of your 120mm double-halo rgb fans off Amazon. I have 9 connected to the hub and plugged into my second (of two) 3-pin argb headers on my mobo. The instructions say to hold the bottom-middle button (I believe it's green) on the remote for 3 secs to get the fans to sync with the mobo (Asus ROG X570-E) and rgb software (Armoury Crate/Aura Sync). However, the fans only turn a solid bluish white and don't sync at all. Is there something else that is supposed to be done?

you can daisy chain the argb on 10 fans on 1 of the controllers, then use the other controller to power the same 5 fans.

Does this work on the MSI EDGE X570? why did you switch motherboards at the end? was the msi not compatable? the reason i ask is i am currently trying to hook these up to my msi edge x570 and im not finding any program that gives me the ability to control the rgb colors. i can only control them from the hub itself. what am i doing wrong? everything is connected exactly as is shown on the msi mb. why am i still unable to use mystic to control the rgb?

@@dustyjordan460 nope, havent figured it out. Saw things saying to get a new hub with remote control, but in having a hard time finding one that is proper. That still wont solve my issue of why it's not allowing me to control my rgb with any rgb control programs.

@@brittenjohnson2312 I figured it out! So just a heads up I'm using an ASUS motherboard with Aura Sync. I have all the fans hooked up to the included hub/controller and then the hub connected to my Mobo RGB header. After setting a color in Aura Sync, I pressed and held the "RGB Mode" button on the hub for about 3 seconds. This synchronized everything on the hub to the same color I had just set in Aura Sync and now my fans and strips all adjust in sync with everything else. I haven't tried any more complex color adjustments, but they're at least all the same color now. I hope this helps!

looking at getting these, but i have one query first. 1 fan header can handle max 1 amp, so say 1 fan is 0.2 of an amp, boot up thats doubled, so 0.4 of an amp each fan. if you have 5 of these plugged into the hub thats 2 amps. so header and board could be destroyed. i im planning on using the hub to connect RGB cable to RGB header to control lights. but connect fan PWM lead to deepcool fan hub, which has dedicated power from PSU. then connect that to 1 fan header. as this should be safer as would take power from PSU not the header. that way i can control fan speeds without blowing the header or the motherboard. will that work?

Hi, regarding to your question, don't worry about it. The fan hub is powered from PSU , not from the motherboard, so it won't blow your header on motherboard.

Theres a couple 5v 3 pin connectors to 12v 4 pin converters by EZDIY-FAB and Deepcool but you might run into issues syncing it to Aura sync

You can change the fan speeds in the bios, as long as you've connected the fans to a PWM fan header on your motherboard, that will allow you to set up a fan cure.

As the first reply said, the motherboard doesn't have the necessary JRainbow1 header (strange, as my old Gaming Carbon Wifi board with the same chipset does). Outside of a motherboard upgrade, you'll need to purchase an ARGB hub that connects to a USB2 header on your motherboard. Numerous companies like Antec, Thermalright, Cooler Master, and even Razer make such controllers.
