I always appreciate your BTOB reactions so thanks for reacting to this so soon after it released. As much as you love their voices and music videos, you are in for a lot of great stuff as you continue reacting to them, and I'm looking forward to it! BTOB is successfully going through another major crossroad as idols (like the military crossroad) and I'm so proud of them. I think they are going to show the idol industry that there is exciting life after 30 for people with talent who are not afraid to follow their dreams and work hard for them. As I listen to this song again, I want to hear an acoustic version with the 6 of them singing and playing instruments. This is the song for The BTOB Band! We can always hope. Thank you so much for reacting to it already. I love your reaction, too. Yes, BTOB is back with their heart breaking songs, pulling at our heartstrings and making us cry. But this is where they are good at..their emotional singing and sad music videos that anyone can relate to. This truly is a sad but lovely song written by Minhyuk and Hyunsik. It's sad that the other 2 members are not here in this song/mv but Changsub is still busy with his promotion of his solo album while Sungjae is so busy filming for his new kdrama to be aired early next year. Schedules are really conflicting but I believe soon they'll find time to have a full group comeback..we just have to wait. Peniel usually just raps in their earlier years. When Ilhoon was gone..Peniel still raps but with this sort of melodic and poetic style. Now that he's been taking vocal lessons lately..he's been rapping and singing now just like Minhyuk. Honestly, right after listening to the album and there was no translation of this song yet, I said that I definitely felt it was a bit like ADVICE and I liked the sound of it. People said that it would become instantly obsolete and now seeing other artists decide to similar titles I think TAEMIN proved everyone wrong

Guilty as a song, but most of all the message of Guilty is much much bigger than a lot of people realize or even have a capacity to realize. It’s not just a song, it’s a statement, it’s a manifesto, it’s Taemin reliving his traumas, getting in terms with everything he’s been through and reclaiming his own life, identity, sexuality. Overall he shows us (fans, the industry) he’s finally in control and is no one’s puppet. Although it may seem like it on the surface level, the lyrics are not about some toxicity between lovers and shouldn’t be interpreted literally but figuratively. I consider Guilty to be a masterpiece, a super personal work of the highest caliber. Taemin is truly an unmatched artist.

You're definitely right feeling unsettled/uncomfortable watching this! Honestly, Guilty can have many meanings and art is up for interpretation anyway, but many people take this for a 'sexy song' which... no... Though there's theme around seduction, breaking taboo and the album concept incorporates eroticism, those are more like tools in my opinion, and the feeling given is much more sad and unsettling. Taemin's not gone into great detail about what Guilty is about, but he has said we will feel sorry for the protagonist among other things.

But as he wanted to adjust it more to his style and liking, he let it be untill he returned. And boy am I glad he did , because he made a masterpiece out of it!
