How can it be charged on the road if the AC/DC converter is external? Looks fun for one charge enduro near your home, but cannot be used for adventure riding with offroad at destination. Unless you have a BEV with V2L - either pickup or with MC trailer 🙂

@Ozfreerider_adventures the bike is still made and used natural resources metals and gas to make and it costs more then a motorized dirt bike. Yes interesting and fast but the market price needs to come down for consumers. The US consumers don't all have 13G or 14G for that.

@ the bike is made of natural resources ? Um yeah … what’s your point ? So I’d a gas bike !! If you point is that it’s not “environmentally friendly “ , nothing is! Everything uses resources . It’s a pretty weak argument against these bikes . And you say it costs more ? What about $2000 ? And that gets made up by having no engine maintenance anyway . These are cheaper than a ktm500 so I don’t know what you’re complaining about

@Ozfreerider_adventures at this point KTM Stark ebikes are over priced. Read other comments not just mine, the industry as a whole needs to make products cheaper for consumer instead of making mass $$ of the bikes. In other words the bike shouldn't be more then $8,000 the plastics tires frame isn't high quality steel the electronics over priced. Many with industrial design knowledge knows this bike is overpriced and company profiting.

@ do you realise they are a start up company? And the development costs are factored in to this bike as well as costs of start up ? Htf can they make them cheaper ? And the bikes are a premium bike ! If you want a cheap bike go buy a klx250 . It’s like saying a Ferrari should be cheap because we need cheaper cars 🤷♂️ and also factored into the cost is 2 YEARS worth of warranty !!!! You don’t get jack shit feom current manufacturers of ice bikes after you leave the store , no tool kit . Stark comes with a high end tool set to fit every part of the bike . Doesn’t require an aftermarket exhaust , no spare air filters and oil , no oil filters and oil , and has ongoing tech support directly from the manufacturer and constantly over air updates . You get a FUCKING lot for your money . Much more than buying a ktm or any other bike . Oh and ktm doesn’t even come with skid plates 🤦♂️
