GPA is not everything. One very important part of public school that you don't get in homeschooling is the development of social skills, particularly in regard to interacting with peers. Additionally, the student may learn information to pass standardized tests, but they lose the opportunity to meet people who grow up with different backgrounds or cultures. Frankly, I see homeschooling as, in most cases, abusive with the amount that you are holding your child back. You, as a parent, are not a better teacher in every subject than the people who have degrees in the fields that they've specialized in. Let the experts do their jobs, and you do yours.

Yes, many parents are qualified to home school their kids. Some are not. My sister-in-law was the first one to take her 4 kids out of Livonia schools and do that. The school gave them lots of grief and she was even on the news. The kids turned out fine. We decided to do that shortly after, and did it for 4 years. All that time, they were on the waiting list to get into Southfield Christian School, where I attended for my last 3 years and graduated Valedictorian. Then I graduated from U of M. Now I'm on my 50th reunion committee.😮 Home schooling was great for us. We participated occasionally with a co-op to do science experiments, etc. We had memberships for the zoo, the science museums, etc. We would see the school classes come through, like at Cranbrook, and just push a few buttons on the exhibits as they walked past. I made my kids figure out and perform whatever exercise there was to do. After 3 years, they went to Southfield Christian, too. One son was Salutatorian. They both got into U of M.

Not a reasonable comparison because of demographic information. People who can afford homeschooling tend to be from a more financially stable socioeconomic background. Comparing them to the average of public schools doesnt make sense. I agreed homeschooling is great but i dont think the arguments you gave are factual.

Yes, marriage is described as a one man and one woman becoming one flesh. This means that no other can be a part of that union. However, it didn't mean that the man couldn't make another one-flesh union with another woman. Jesus' reference of marriage in the N.T. just reiterated Adam about they become one-flesh, but didn't say that had to only be one woman for the man.
