Question, I’m still not all the way there on Bryce but I do see an improvement, but is the reason he hasn’t thrown crazy passing yards is due to the run game improving?

I was arguing with panthers fans when they decided to keep him. I think it was a bad decision to not make a change and if this defense is remotely as bad as it was this year it will put Canales and Morgan job at risk. I won’t feel bad because they had an opportunity to make a change.
@cristianuribe86223 сағат бұрын
you can’t be serious beside horn, who on that defense was remotely above average? loosing brown and shaq for the season really hurt this defense.
@trevaughnisom86183 сағат бұрын
The defense had the same issues the year before, and this year. DB and Shaq are good players but even with those two it will not fix this run or red zone defense. What about the lack of adjustments Ejiro didn’t make in close games?
@trevaughnisom86183 сағат бұрын
Also we don’t even know if Shaq is coming back next year I would for him too. We saw what ejiro could do with good talent and it wasn’t good enough
@cristianuribe86222 сағат бұрын
@@trevaughnisom8618 last year our defense was out in the field about 80 percent of the time in every game, so of course our defense would be bad last year when your basically playing the whole game, and tbh when you basically have 2-3 stringers across the board on defense there’s really not much adjustments you can do, but in fairness if dan morgan upgrades the defense tremendously this off season, and the defense is still terrible then that’s a whole different story.

Stats are misleading. He doesn't have a deep or YAC threat. He is overachieving given the lack of talent around him.
@mmoye86406 сағат бұрын
When you are looking at pure numbers, you can't see the true growth and ability of BY9. It is not just the yac yards that are keeping numbers down but think about how many dropped, right in your hand passes this year? I know this is never counted for QBs but he has rushing yards and TDs too.

I hate to say this after over sixty years of watching ACC sports but the conference is in trouble. In the ACC vs. SEC in basketball, we lost 14 - 2 and that was embarrassing. The money in college sports and the ability to transfer any time an athletic chooses is destroying college sports. Football has also become mediocre and it is boring to watch the teams play. I fear that this conference is going to fade away and be a small conference compared to the three major conferences in the country. It makes me sad.

Yeah, I see zero chance he is still a hot commodity for head coach after coaching the worst defense in NFL history.
@Venothor9017 сағат бұрын
Ok make up your mind TD… either you want Bryce to be a 305 passer or do you want the team to focus ground game priority? Can’t really do both at the current junction. Bryce is building finally. We, as Panther fans, should be grateful we aren’t having to go through the QB cycle AGAIN. He’s our guy until he shows us otherwise. Now Dan and Dave can focus of scouting and filling the holes with the cap space available and the draft coming up.
@smokinace5218 сағат бұрын
They don’t have the game plan to reliably get 300 yards passing every week. We are a run first team (when Canales decides to hand the ball to the RB), and if we do pass the ball it’s because we are behind the sticks and the on the scoreboard. Truth is even if we had a Garret Wilson or even a Jamar Chase, I don’t think Bryce can throw for 300 yards reliably. 200-250 yes. Honestly I don’t care about 300 yard passing games, I care about W’s. If Bryce throws for 400 yards and 3 scores plus 2 TDs from the rushing attack does that matter if we lost? Bryce throwing for 200 yds a TD and 2-3 rushing TDS from the RBs or him and a Win is better. Stats are just fantasy numbers in my book. Only stat that matters is the W-L column. How you get there is why we watch the game.

To be fair they blocked evero from interviewing last off season then lost 4 of the best 6 players on that side of the ball and replaced them with rubber bands and paper clips to make the offense better with zero depth from bad trades in the past few years. lol plus the fan base has a scapegoat for next year🤷♂️
@jefferythompson323518 сағат бұрын
ATL lost 6 of their last 8 games and the 2 wins were against the giants and the saints… fun fact if we lost Sunday we would have the #3 overall and if we didn’t beat AZ we would have the #1 overall both we could have traded down and fill the roster since we only have 1 top 50 pick as of right now. AT seperation number was 5.7 and XL was 6.1 which both graded better than Chase, Jefferson, Lamb, Hill, Adams, Metcalf and Coker would be up there too but there is a minimum number of plays to qualify… I think the furthest a BY completion traveled in the air was 32 yards. And Dalton for the 2nd year in a row had the best passing game of the season

@toddsmith555219 сағат бұрын
I think his yards per attempt would be a lot higher if he had a true #1 receiver. Watchin Drake London made me dream of how good he could be if he could just throw it up and somebody would come down with it. Now it is true that Atlanta was playing against a weak and depleted defense
@ShaneLawson-w3i19 сағат бұрын
Panthers don’t have the WRs to consistently throw for 300 yards. And to just look at a stat like passing yards to judge a Quarterback how well he is playing is foolish

Yep. Eagles backup QB had 2 TDs with like 5 yards of passing. If people watch the games they will see the decision making is better, efficiency is better, vision is better, etc. Stats can be misleading. The bengals are 9-8 and burrow is having one of his "best" years stat-wise.

It’s just old man people forget most of our BEST YEARS AND DIVISION WINS BESIDES THE 2015 season we won the division with LOSING RECORDS. I’m sorry but most young men with the pressure Bryce had on his shoulders and not breaking is really different. He always comes up big in clutch moments. Bryce has that swagger Carolina has been needing since CAM ppl just aren’t patient and act blind to the fact we were a terrible organization Bryce came too. Bryce could’ve easily wanted out when being benched but he played scout and came back like ite let me show them why I was 13 getting college offers from Texas tech! This dude has been a winner and humble man his whole life. After the falcons game Bryce put up 44 man he’s not selfish he could’ve had 6 TDS easily. I’m tired of the first two games bs I truly think he was hurt with the breakup and that Dionte pressured him Bryce’s first interception was going to DJ why do people seem to not realize as SOON AS DIONTW GOT TRADES THIS TEAM WAS DANCING AND HAVING FUN! These nfl players know Bryce is legit they’ve seen him especially the young guys know. Be patient and get this man some weapons. People truly baffle me name one team in the playoffs that don’t have a top TE OR WR??? I’ll wait. Bryce is supposed to elevate HE DOES BUT DAMN COKER IS STILL A UN DRAFTED FREE AGENT LEGETTE IS A ROOKIE DROPPING EVERYTHING! Sander almost broke his neck and slowed down a lot since. And through it all Bryce still loves this team I’m sorry with all his accomplishments he’s too nice and humble for the way fans treat a top prospect since a middle school guy smfh sitting on a couch saying what this young man can and can’t do?? Who tf is anybody to tell this undersized hard working baller what he can and can’t do ? He keeps proving yall wrong and I love it!

Bryce is the guy bro......he was always the guy....he just lacked confidence in a bad situation. I've played sports all my life and I KNOW when someone has arrived. Bryce has arrived.
