I absolutely LOVE this book! I’m on my third time reading it. Full disclosure, I listened to the audible version (I’m dyslexic). I thought Rosario Dawson did a phenomenal job as narrator.

I had the opposite reaction to the female smuggler. In the movie Casablanca, Rick Blaine is a strong man who regularly skirts the law. Imagine replacing Humphrey Bogart with Jenna Ortega. The movie would fail. Replacing Rick with a sassy Jazz woman fails every time it is tried-and it is exhausting how often it is tried. When will the culture get past feminist delusions that men and women are interchangeable? The character of Administrator Ngugi works. It is believable that a woman could be the mayor of the city. The character of Jazz fails because it is not believable to cast that role as a woman. I give the book a thumbs down for the unbelievable character of Jazz.

Just finished this. Great little book. I turned the Netflix film off after 5 minutes.

I personally enjoy narration journaling, but I don't per say narrate every single day, but focus on things I like or had my attention. I do like the aspect of collecting things throughout the week and then sticking them in the journal, so I might try that with my next journal, or journal entry.

I kinda need therapy after leaving it, i need someone to explain it to me even tho i red it, i have so many questions.

I honestly love the series. It's a cute love story, it's mysterious, interesting, and strange. All the things I love in a romance novel. It runs laps around Twilight and more people should read it.
