Firstly, I LOVE THE VIDEO AND YOUR CHARISMA IN THE VIDEO. It was very fun watching it. Second, you are a lifesaver. I haven't played this games since High School, and now (13 years later) I dare not only to play on nightmare, but also use these mods they call them. You have saved me hours of research. It feels like something completely new. Like it's the DAO i remember, and then again it's not. Overall, A BIG THANK-YOU. Hopefully there is a video for DA2

Everything in this game is too brown, as if everything was made of aged wood, even the plants are brown! And now, thanks to your video I'm finally going to play it, because the reshade mod you showed is simply fantastic!

Essentially copy-pasting the ending of ME3 into DAV is definitely a way to leave your audience swindled, hoodwinked, bamboozled and - dare I say - smeckledorfed.

I get your point, but as someone who played DA:O as a teen and being blown away by the amount of freedom, lore, characters, choices etc… I have over 600 hours and I still replay it to this day. While in every new game BioWare reduced the RPG elements, refused to let the player make any evil or grey choices like in Origins. And even the writing took a nose dive. Solas planned this Ritual for the last 8 years, and you want to tell me Rook just pushes some columns like a domino onto him and stop the ritual? Idk… I just feel as if they went into a different direction… more Guardians of the Galaxy vibe than DA imo Anyway, Appreciate your honest opinion, and thank you for the video ❤

I always try and have a wait and see approach to new games. All of the negative videos out there, mostly clickbait, just destroy morale and make you not excited about the game because if you love a game series it makes you feel defensive about the game that you love. I am so far spoiler free, I "do not recommend channel" to all the videos that have a negative title that way I don't have to see them, at all. Everyone has general critiques. Oh I wish they had this, I wish they had that, but the negativity is just ridiculous. At the end of the day it is just a game. I guess I just don't understand why people are so vicious nowadays. If you do one thing they don't like the mob hunt you down and destroy you. If you don't like the game...play something else, or make your own game, just quit putting it out there into the universe, it is suffocating. Who wants to feel that much negativity every day? I just can't even deal with it anymore.

My (hopefully) valid criticism is this: I love Mass Effect and I love Dragon Age both; and I loved that while there were similarities, for sure, there were also a lot of differences between the two especially in regards to gameplay. It feels like with Veilguard, they're erasing a lot of that uniqueness and making it "Mass Effect: Fantasy Edition." With things like you no longer control your party members, you can have fewer of them with you (exactly the number now you get in ME games), that kind of stuff.

I'm currently playing BG3 and I cant wait to play the veilguard next week 😂

honestly, if you just use the unnoficial remaster mod it is enough. If you do not care for clothing and looks, i like to keep the game running smoothly and have it as close to vanilla as possible. just a personal preference. Great video by the way
