UPDATE: I tested the mods in an old character and save and they seem to be working fine. I tested it on 3 different ones so I am going to say it's safe to download mods mid-game. However, still be careful when installing mods in any game. They may still cause issues. Proceed with caution.

Huge boost to the game. I also really like the class mods that let you change your spell casting stat. Being able to have a face character that isn't sorc, bard, pal, or warlock

I avoided using mods for the longest time with this game. I am so happy that I finally get to mess around with it. It's been very fun so far.

Best mods are camera tweaks so you can zoom in/out, not in game list only nexus so far

hopefully, we will get something similar soon. I have been seeing more and more mods getting loaded into the in-game mod manager so it's possible.

I still do it, it works fine. I have removed more and added new ones and it didn't break my game.

@@serenityknightwolf956 yeah I posted a pinned comment yesterday letting people know. I tested it yesterday with a few old saves and it works fine for me as well

Thank you for this. First time I have seen a review on this that explains everything so even I can understand it. Right now though I am playing the game natively on a Macbook (ok, stop that laughing!) So I had no idea that there were going to be so many mods available right off the bat. Definitely look forward to trying this out when it finally hits for MacOS. Definitely want that increase party limit size as well as not being encumbered. Thanks for the video!

@@HughnoUwantme I love the extra carry weight mod and the party limit one. I will be making a video on all the mods I have in about a week -as soon as I stop installing more lol - I’m waiting a couple of weeks to see if certain ones I really want from the nexus come to the in game mod manager

Anyone else having a problem about the mods re-download despite the fact you removed them?

yes, I did have an issue with this as well. And sorry for not responding until now, KZbin doesn't always give me notifications. I learned that in order to permanently delete a mod from the load order you have to delete whatever saves you have, that had that mod installed. I hope this helps.

that's up to you. I purposely waited to mod because I wanted to try this mod manager. I also learned today that several people reported that the BG3 MM and the in-game mod manager are working well together. I guess it's a bit of a pain to get going at first but it's pretty good. You can always wait to try the in-game mm until things get more updates

I'm playing bg3 on a mac, is the mod manager supposed to be there already after the update? it isn't showing up for me

man i'm worried about the playstation mods. i think most of the kind of mods i want won't even be on ps5 which sucks.

Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if it will be the same as what PS gamers have to deal with, with Skyrim and Fallout 4, or if Larian has some better deal with Sony but I'm hoping you guys get the same or similar mods to everyone else.
