The All Stars finale was meant to reflect each previous season. The first moat was toxic waste, representing Revenge of the Island. The second was lava, representing the volcano in Hawaii in World Tour. The third was plain swamp water, representing the more chill vibe of Island. And the top level was pulling the sword out of the stone, representing the reference to various movie genres in Action.

I think trent's nine obsession came from the fact that his grandfather died because remember An aftermath he said that his grandfather died when he was A kid and the wheel fell off, which left him was 9 wheels. So, before he started season 2 I think and between. That was his grandfather's birthday and he tried to honor him with the 9 obsession, which people turned into something crazy for TV

I'll acknowledge that there's valid reasons to hate Courtney. But that's all the more reason why I'm furious at how she's continually derailed and made worse with every season. All-Stars came very close to getting her back on a good track (And Gwen), and I watched this season in the hopes that this time it would have finally happened. If I had known they were not sincere about it, I never would have turned this shit on. Regardless of how anybody feels about Courtney, throwing all of that out with such a vile episode like Sundae Muddy Sundae is a massive dick move.

For season 1 I agree lashawna's elimination was stupid and unfair, but my favorite season 1 moments are when Lindsay stood up to Heather by cussing her out, and when Duncan and cortney snuck off to steal from Chris and chef together and kissed for the first time, those scenes altered my brain chemistry seeing them as a kid for the first time lol

My favorite moment in Island is when Harold clutched up in the talent show. It’s very close between that and Dodgeball, but the talent show is so iconic

As a Harold, Justin and Lindsay enjoyer, this season is my favorite

A few problems i have with this season is: 1.Trent was soooooo delayed just because CNW wanted Duncan and Gwen meanwhile we had a whole season 1 of duncney and its so annoying how they delayed these 4 characters just for this 2.Owen's comebacks was super unnecessary 3.It has argubaly the worst final 2 Beth is really a mid character overall and her fan reception is pretty mixed they couldve had better finals like Duncan/harold Courtney/Lindsay Duncan/lindsay etc

Great review. I know I am in the minority but i like Action. It's a chill and laid back season it's not as intense as Island. The characters all know each other and more or less know what they are getting theirselves in for. This season feels more relax compared to the other seasons.

MK is literally what Noah should have been. And yet she still ended up just like him. Wasted potential.

Imo this season messed up with the cast and that’s what total drama world tour did right cuz they had characters like Ezekiel, Tyler, Noah, Cody, Alejandro, heather, and sierra and at least there’s nobody like Trent being annoying and being out of character

I think TDA taking out a lot of the previous contestants as a result of TDI episode 27 was a move that didn't play out well for the season. They started with 14 contestants, out of the previous 22. So way more non-elimination episodes had to occur. In addition to that, there wasn't as much variety of interactions. The other 8 campers could have served as great first boots and/or a synergetic-type boost to one of the more prominent characters. Like, World Tour reintroducing Cody, Noah, and Tyler was a good move in my opinion. Those characters got more fleshed out because of it, and less non-elimination episodes happened. It doesn't help that Courtney got moved to villain status and Beth was a finalist. They could have actually put Duncan and Harold, Courtney and Harold, or Courtney and Lindsay as the finalists since they all had something against each other. Beth and Duncan barely if at all interacted with each other prior to Action's finale, so it didn't feel as much of a friendly competition as Island's finale, nor did it feel like a battle like in World Tour's finale. Also, this is based on my first impression of the season.

I think I read somewhere the Lindsay WAS originally going to be in the finale but her VA got another voice-over job around that time and it interfered with her schedule with TDA.
