Unreal. It’s a freaking game. You should be able to do what you wanna do with it after you buy it.

If you play hardcore, loot plays a role, everything plays a role. You rework your gear at all times to get as far as possible. In softcore, you don't have to do that because death doesn't matter; bad play isn't punished. Unfortunately, my people are pussies and hang around the slot machine like gambling addicts, hoping that a good item drops. Basically, they're completely overpowered and the only game they play is hoping they get lucky. Basically, they could just as well be sitting in the casino, it would be the same game. I think it's a real shame; I used to have people with whom I always played hardcore. Basically, the game is much more intense and you're fully involved the whole time. When I see someone in hardcore with good gear, I know that the person is good at the game. In softcore, you don't have to be able to do anything, you spend a lot of time and you're still super geared at the end. Noobs play softcore because they know they can't survive in hardcore.

160 M toughness is wild, I remember a decade ago I was world #9 among barbs with 78-ish million.

How did i get like 4-6 primal like with in an hour, like i was lucky that time and it was not in GR, i just farm tyreal’s chest and getting those random portal everywhere and that one run that has 5 levels, im getting 1 and max of 2 primals per level.. that was a lucky afternoon to me.. altar of rite is still sealed though..

Im close to paragon 1000 doing GRs and i only got 3 primals total...

that btw had 8 legendaries and rest set pieces green

but the primal drop is still way to wide. 1-400 is bs lots of ancients no primals 99% of the time

This is great, very helpful thanks! Another good one is The Battlefield of Eternity in Act 5. There's armor racks everywhere. It's less efficient overall, but you wouldn't have to exit game and come back every two seconds, and it's less monotonous, and there's mobs to kill, and more gear to loot. It's another option.

Level gems to 100 as fast as possible. I have notice on a pretty consistent basis, I will get primal every Level 100 - 125 gem. So what I'm saying is, I experience a primal drop when I level a gem from 1-100(125) between the 100-125 range. I have even been able to predict it so that I'm buying from Kadala around 115 and haven't seeing them drop and focus on a specific item. It's how I got my 20/100/10 Squirts Primal. I got a gem to 115, and went to Kadala and gambled on necks, bought only amuilets and got it. This is personal experience so don't bother trying to "debunk" what I have experienced. It's pretty much the same as what this guy is saying, just in a more simpler way to explain it. 30 GR's an hour would be 30x5 = 150 gem. I think personally Primal drops % chance increase with every click of leveling a gem.

how about season 30 Vision of Enmity + Altar of Rites... changes a lot (Sliver of Terror/Remnant of Pain) Soul Shards... apparently more dmg... mainly thinking if visions better even tho sometimes ya need to search for vision long time... maybe that makes it more towards grifting? :Edit: I just did GR90 3 gems up to rank70 and 1 gem rank 50... that's lots of grifting and not single primal... same time sold tons of bloodshards to kadala and not single primal... yeah RNG lol ... gotta farm more... i guess xD

Quit blaming the people who made the video. There's a Disney video of that awful Akwafina person telling jokes behind the scenes in the Little Mermaid. None of them are really jokes, just statements that she says loudly and awkwardly and then laughs at herself. All the sound people and tech folks in the studio fall over laughing each time, but you can see in their faces they know this isn't funny. But if they don't laugh at a certain demographic, they lose their jobs and probably will be blackballed everywhere else. Videos like these are probably the only way they have to show you what's really going on, and you should be thankful.

If D4 can fix the 100 different affix problem on the gear I'd come back. I just will not sit there for hours, evaluating yellow gear, sifting through all those damn affixes - that part of the game needs to be more simplified.

In truth the game is too grindy. I do not have the time needed to get to the levels most are at. When grinding in DB4 it is so repetitive. The game is no longer fun. It had it's new shiny moment, but once the glitter wears off, we are left with a game that actually has no purpose, as by the time you get everything done, the next season starts and we get reset (uhg!!!). Again (for me), the game is no longer fun. There are simply better choices of games to play like Fortnite, Cyberpunk 2077, Black Desert Online. If your ok with a grindy game, then Black Desert is a great choice, lol. ... Blizzard across the board has dropped the ball so many times it's become normal for them, expected behavior. In truth DB4 is a wreck of a game. Sad to see this game fail so bad. I was truly hoping this game would become a solid game. I no longer believe the Dev's from any game Blizz. puts out. ... I would play POE if it would recognize my RTX 3080TI. Not willing to change my settings just for one game. The default graphics card in POE, is so bad. So for now, on to other games :) ... Peace

The game? Yes, easily. - With these leads? No. Experience tells me 'They don't got it'. The project leads are not on the same page; and I severely doubt theres any interferance from higher up.

I've been wondering lately what's going on with the diablo franchise. I played Diablo 1 and 2 and still think those are the best arpg's. Diablo 4 is trying but the itemization is all wrong and if they don't fix that then I think it'll never live up to its original games. But I do know that the original devs didn't work on D3 and D4 so I'm wondering if there's a reason that they don't use that itemization now. It's really hurting the game in my opinion. Basically because with D1 and D2 the itemization was the reason those games were great and still are today.

They should give expansion for free after a trash start

I'm doing my part to help it recover... so far I own every single cosmetic item in the store. Never even played a barb or rogue, but grabbed it all just in case. Hopefully they can use put that money towards making improvements...

Seasons didn’t got to d3 until late into the game

I think we forget that there are people and a lot of people only play games one time through the storyline. If every expansion bring people who enjoyed it but only plan on playing one character whenever there's more story. I know the hardcore players find this weird, but that's how many people play games.

No, it can't "recover" because its whole business model is based on seasons and the idea of starting over and over again from 0. That is something many people don't want to participate in.

D4 is worse than D3 & D3 is bad

They can, if they put some work into it. Season two had some good changes but it’s far from perfect. My fear is that they went all out on season two just so they could make the announcement for the new expansion but I think they’ll stop improving and just wait for the expansion release and hope they make money.

No fancy analysis needed here. Diablo IV is BORING. And that's with the recent changes, which actually did make things a bit better. Gameplay consists of looking up the meta skills for the one or two viable builds for your class, filling in the blanks and then you're done. The loot system is the worst I've seen of any arpg I've ever played.

Sadly the answer is no. I quit and uninstalled a week after launch and haven't seen a single thing I would come back for. I'm back to playing WoW Retail.

doubtful, they have loss of trust from majority of day1 players and they want to charge $60+ for new content (expansion). Also note, the next Diablo game (D5) wont be releasing on Playstation as the franchise is now owned by Microsoft. They probably won't release it on a future Sony console. So RIP for the half of the franchise's popularity on consoles which accounted to the success releases of D3 and D4.

I've moved on to WoW Season of Discovery and have no plans to come back to Diablo 4 until the expansion, if it doesn't cost $70+ like some leaks have reported.
