I don't honestly believe a stash tab for the aspects is the way to go, someone I can't recall who mentioned making the codex itself upgrade-able with the aspects we find. I feel that is the proper path. Start by rewarding ALL the aspects from dungeons, then you can upgrade them as you find them when they're dropped. It gives players something to strive towards. Gems should have their own space and not take up inventory, same for seasonal items like the hearts and whatever will come after. And they DEFINITELY need to fix that GOD AWFUL back end code where we load up the other players we see ENTIRE INVENTORY AND THEIR STASH TABS. Like jesus...who the F*** thought that was okay?! I'm betting they copy and pasted that from D3 and never thought about it again near the beginning of development. Store prices need to come down DRASTICALLY or i'd prefer if it was eliminated entirely. This is a $70 base price game, with a battle pass and expansions are coming. A fomo based MTX store has no place in this game. If D4 was F2P, I wouldn't say that so long as the in game store wasn't egregiously over priced. I've seen skins that are $30+ for a single class. I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but they should probably be tossed out of the marketing team. I get that whales exist, but is it REALLY worth the bad PR and losing players? Seasons need to offer more than the paltry bit that the season of the Malignant did. They cannot ever come even CLOSE to putting out a patch like the one that shall not be named (you know the one I mean) ever again. That was completely unacceptable, not good for the health of the game NOR did it solve any of the issues the devs said they wanted to address. All of the stats that were nerfed because "they didn't want those to feel mandatory to a builds success" were STILL ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY. They're just worse now and there was no compensation given as recourse because the things they did buff were all additive and the nerfs were multiplicative. So it's still a MASSIVE net loss. The paragon system needs a refund all button, plain and simple. We need build loadout slots we have them for our cosmetics (because of course we do) The cost of respec is still too high as is Enchanting. Uber uniques being as rare as they are makes them essentially worthless. If someone like you or Mr.llama can play for 20 years and mathematically STILL not have one? WHY DO THEY EXIST? P.S. Yeah I find that topic silly. It took about an hour to get all the skill points in s1. Then Just play the game, do whispers, helltides, NM dungeons, strongholds and you will easily get through half way between teir 4 and 5. Then just knock out a few side quests.

Diablo 3 had an in game trading system, but it got ruined by bots which is why I gave that caveat.

And Diablo Immortal had a find group feature. While Diablo 2 allowed you make games describing who should join. And Diablo 3 let you open games to public, etc

Here’s a take: put “mega dungeons” in - dungeons with 3-4 boss encounters with micro end game bosses maybe half the HP of Lilith. With increased drop rates on Uber Uniques (these need to be farmable) Add mini-abyss gates (portals to random mini dungeon) that act as mini loot caves with double to quadruple drop rates of class uniques (Similar to Torchlight infitites mini portals that pop up). UI needs to be customizable. Stats need to be squished - too much itemization. Minimize some of the similar modifiers and group them into a single multiplicative modifier. Need ability to have multiple specs/ load outs. I don’t have time to farm millions of gold to rebuild a character or try things out. I basically now have to look up builds and go for it… something changes I’m fucked.

Crafting: I miss runes and runewords from D2. There was so much creativity with making items to create a build. Items: It's too hard to know if a dropped item is good or not. You almost need to find a good yellow, a good legendry with a useful aspect, and transfer it. The chances of getting a good unique are too slim. There are too many stats on items that dilute the pool from what is desirable. I sell most of the trash I pick up. Social: I spend 99% of the time in game alone. I'm actually okay with this as I avoid MMOs that suck the life out of people, but it would be fun to advertise groups and goals better. I made a lot of friends I still talk to starting in 2003 from WoW and D2. I find it impossible to do this in D4. Sometimes I have friends online and playing that want to hang out, but that's rare. Nightmares: These are essentially greater rifts from D3. Not very creative. It makes D4 like D3 with better graphics but less gameplay options. I'd like some variety in the game. Renown: You hit it on the head. I'm grinding it for the +20 paragon points, but it feels like an obligation. You get minimal exp and loot from doing them. It's just not worth doing world content except to grind this renown. Why not make them more worthwhile on their own? Even D3 bounties had decent drops. The tree is there, yes... but it's not worth it either. Builds: I freaking hate metas. They kill creativity. ALL skills should have viable builds and be balanced. If I want to play a lightning sorc, LET ME. If I want to be a sword barb, LET ME. And if I want to walk around with undead armies, freaking LET ME. By let me, I mean make it good and viable. Blizzard games usually struggle with this. Why haven't they learned their lesson over the past 30 years?

One of the issues with rerolling stats is the ridiculous amount of useless or redundant ones. Why does there need to be 3 different stats for extra damage when werewolf/wearbear/shapeshifted?? Why can't they just have extra damage while shapeshifted? That covers all 3 doesn't it??

Seasons only last 3 months aspects once discovered should be unlocked at max roll anyway or have a way to get a max roll recipe so we don’t have to carry them around

Hear me out.. I think blizz can fix the stash issue with a separate stash place. So the campaign in fortnite has your backpack which is stuff that you have on you. So its like having your stash with you. But.. there is a stash in the menu before you enter the game to do missions that you cant excess in mission games. I think the reason for it is what blizz is talking about. You dont need to load all the items in the party by having 6 tabs in a "bank" and just loading the 4 tabs in your stash in town. Accessing the bank would be done in the character screen to xfer items over to the stash. Im sure people would want inventory in there too but just the bare mechanics of that would be huge.

Truly, enchanting is in a horrible state...And worse is that Devs don't seem to realize because they made it WORSE not once but twice...First by adding a ton of extra shitty affixs in 1.1 and secondly by removing the "priority stat" system which was the only thing making certain pieces workable. smh

I’m probably one of the only one like wudi liking the renown system. It’s not annoying like in WoW that we needed to farm it on each charac to gain the merchant prices and reward. We need only once. For me, farming renown on my 1rst charac is just leading me to do each dungeon on the map only once. I almost do no side quests. And ok, it’s less effective to do each dungeon once than doing 10000 times an Uldur or Dohmmaine run. But. Is it not more funny diversified to do only once each? Just once. On the first charac. For me as a renown enjoyer, the pbl is that it is not competitive as an xp/h farm method. Maybe a big buff of the xp gain at each renown step? To compensate the fact that I’m slower by not resetting again and again the same dungeon? Just to make this way just equal to chain farm only on run? And even with that, since they almost removed the lvl scalling. I personnaly didn’t finished my renown and got stuck because I reached the cap of lvl56. Mobs still lvl55. I got to stop renown. Do ND. Reach WT4, then finally finish renown with mobs higher than me in WT4. This new scaling is almost killing the open world. People asked for it. But I guess they were wrong. And Blizz was wrong to listen to them

Congrats on your new position. Regarding stash space you missing the point, i would just have aspects upgrade and add to the codex, that'll reduce the excessive stash hording, due to the amount items you hold onto over gg items for the aspects.

Yup I've been saying for months that ALL aspects need to move into the codex (when extracted, preferably unlimited use). They have shown with Season 1 that they can move aspects in and out of codex easily enough so no excuse for it not to happen!
