@@user-abc123yeshaha She certainly knows about this video, her video was about no hitting the ENTIRE pacifist run in one segment, which is near practically impossible due to the amount of time investment for each run and consistency required for specifically the Omega Flowey fight (which cannot be overstated how much work would need to go specifically into that boss), all for you to get luck checked at the very end with low success odds. It is definitely doable in reality, but someone will have to be extremely dedicated and get lucky before that determination runs out.

force of habit because it made it easier to time my jumps and dashes, and in general feel more balanced and in control when I was learning how to to play the game on keyboard. the idea is that you don’t have to think about the grab button as another button you must manage by deciding when to press and release it, because (unless speedrunning) it’s almost never unbeneficial to be holding it. so, you only need to think of the button when you specifically need to let go of grab in a situation where it would otherwise cause issues to do so, which is rare, otherwise just keep the button held. you get used to madeline being “sticky” by default, and releasing the pressure from the grab button makes intuitive sense when it comes to associating that with allowing madeline to become free and “slippery” again.
