That's quite incredible. I wish the NBA All Star game had this event. David Thompson (6' 4") claimed he could touch the top of the backboard and Dwight Howard (6' 9") touched 12' 6" on an ESPN's Sport Science show. Wilt and world record (8 feet) high jumper Javier Sotomayer (6' 4") would be interesting. Connie Hawkins and Michael too. Dwight Howard, incidentally, broke Shaq's record of 9' 5".

Spud deserved to win. I used to think Nique was robbed, but Spud put on a show. Nique needed one more creative dunk in the arsenal. He lost out the same way in '88 on the same type of dunk.

Earl the goat took 50 cent pieces off that back board would mean that the goat would have a extra 6 inches added to 13ft to do that cause of gravity so i think the goat could had easily did that with no problem just jumping strait up like doug thomas instead of jumping strait up against the back board and taking money off like he did who knows the goat might had touched 14 ft that way!!

that black and white footage of kaduor is unreal. so it the last pic of hook. there is a pic on the internet of him blocking a shot probably in a highschool game and his shoulder is at the bottom of the backboard

considering he wasn't even 6'-4", david Thompson was pound for pound the greatest two-legged leaper of all-time. he had a 45-inch vertical. played like he had a 50-inch vertical. not even carter could do that.

no one could get higher jumping off of one foot than larry nance. erving in his prime was a distant second at it. Jordan was third. vince carter was the best 'two-legged' leaper of all-time. Dominique wilkins was second.
