What should I pair with a Ryzen 7 7700? I’ve been looking at 7900xt but wondering if that’s too powerful

Ive got a 3070TI and wanted to wait for the 50 series to upgrade. But i might go AMD 9070XT this time around. Very expensive prices for not much of am upgrade. These cards SHOULD have more VRAM for that cost. A 5070TI has 16gb? Thats double what my 3070ti has and its 2 gens behind. Shouldve had 24 at least.

These new Rtx gpus are not worth it . The 5080 did not gain a decent +30%. It only gained like 10-15% performance from the 4080 super according to several reviewers on KZbin (like gamers nexus) and the 5090 is basically the price of a decent gaming PC a few years back.

5080 = 4085. No question about it. A 580 would have 14,000 Cuda Cores (Minimum) on a 320 bit bus (pref. A 384 bit bus) w/ 20GB 5080Ti on a 384 bit bus w/ 24GB 21,352 Cuda Cores

straight performance is better for pvp because how is the AI supposed to know where the enemy will go? it gives you stuff that doesnt exist... imagine in one frame the enemy walks to the left and in the next he walks to the right but the AI will still give you 1-3 more frames where the enemy walks to the left which will give you massive problems

The 4000 series have gone way up in price.. over $1000 for a 4070ti super. A 4060ti super over $800 ... Nvidia has no stock and AMD won't sell whats in stock. Your only chance of getting a card is waiting in line at a retailer...

This is definately a Marketing scheme done by Corporation (Nvidia in this case) itself. Nvidia has over 2 decades of experience in manifacturing and selling GPUs ,and being one of the biggest companies in the world (biggest in their own category) they already measured the demand for each model of GPUs they make. so for example they analized the amount of sales(actual buyers plus so called scalpers altogether) they had for 80 series of their cards in different generations so they could anticipated the least amount of needed supplies. I'm sure they already have produced the amount needed to meet all the demands around the world but didn't distribute them yet so they could inflated the price arificially. People/buyers insane rush out to get them also helped them even more (unfortunate human behavoiur)

There is still plenty of life left in my RYZEN 9 5900x, I'm not a Gamer so this CPU paired with an RTX 4070 12Gb GPU is more than enough for me.

I purchased the RTX 3060 12 GB for a lot more at the time due to Miners and Scalpers impacting supply. So it was around $450.00 for me at that time. The majority of Video Cards were insanely priced high at that time. I knew any card with a mere 8G of VRAM wasn't going to be a smart investment. Seems like some people are still clueless about 8G of VRAM.

Be careful of Ebay listings, many other are scammers with a fake empty 4090 boards missing gou cores and memory chips. China scammers are also having a field day with those fOMO crowd trying to get their hands on the 50 series cards, just be aware folks, wait for supply to catch up and vote with your wallets, Nvidia became a scalper by stopping production of the 40 series to raise hype/price for their 50 series. He makes it sound easy. Reality is different. Especially the power, reset, led connector. Some don't have those easy adapter and you just have to install each one at a time and the words are very small to read. Some of the GPU is very long and a pain in some case. The twin tower cooler are huge and takes more time to install. If your case don't have per-install fans, then it's going to take more time. If''s is just 1 SSD, it fast. However if you have combination of different size SSD, you may have to play with the case.
