At the follow up appointment at 6 weeks, I'll typically fill if everything looks good. Then 6 weeks after that, I remove completely and do a new reconstruction.

Is this file safe to you use for 'at home' pedicures? Or is it too sharp?
@HealthtoBeautyNails4 ай бұрын
It is safe for at home use, but you'd need a safe callus softener to use with it. I always recommend this file for home use: amzn.to/3wBR2Sv

I'm glad you have a foot care routine! Be careful with the ped egg as those types of files can take off more than is ideal causing the callus to grow back faster and thicker over time.
@conniepleasantnails5 ай бұрын
I use this method and I also send clients home with a small sample size of a hydrating moisturizer and have them get some cotton socks with grip at the bottom. I also finish off the treatment with a gentle cleanser and a soft brush to get every bit of the callus softener off. It’s such a nice treatment. 😊

I used the Kupa Mani Passport Pro for a long time, but I do not recommend ever sending it to their maintenance department. I have a Medicool one now which also works well, but I preferred my Kupa.

I really like your work. But remember if this is nail fungus you should not use Onyfix. Please have the patient see a dermatolgist therefor first. If the nail thickens because of pressure due to foot deformation. It will come back unless wearing orthopedic insols and a silicon protection/ seperater. Thank you for sharing:)
@annak.96265 ай бұрын
There are faster tools for your dry drill. Look up Süda, Ruck and Gewohl for this and take a look at their cataloques.

@@annak.9626 these are Gehwol bits, but I will look up the others, thank you. This client is also working with a dermatologist. Can you share with me where on the packaging it says Onyfix should not be used on fungal nails? I have not seen this nor was it mentioned in my certification class.

Onyfix is a German brand in nail correction. It clearly says do not use if nail has more than 1 third of nail mycosis infection like this nail.

@HealthtoBeautyNails5 ай бұрын
You mean if the cracks are open and bloody? I'd start by recommending the client use Gehwol's Salve for Cracked Skin to keep the cracks clean and start to return elasticity to the skin. I'd avoid this area in service if they came in this way.

So satisfying to watch!👌 Thank you so much❤ Could you please tell me how to use Gehwol fluid? Do I just add a drop on the nails as you do in the video? Thanks in advance🙏
@HealthtoBeautyNails5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Fluid can be used on any area that is irritated, so if you have some nail sensitivity, put a drop of it on the area and gently rub it in a little bit. That's it! You can use it on a bug bite, on a cut, on a corn, really any area that's cranky, and it'll help to soothe it.
