I am proud to be Palestinian and even prouder that my bloodline traces back to Jerusalem. My grandparents lived in Jerusalem until the 1950s when they were forced to leave their home for Jordan. The last time I visited my city, Jerusalem, was in 1999. Jerusalem is in my blood and my DNA, and nothing can take that away from me.

The real Abraham's grandchildren, the authors of our religions, the ancient Jews of the Holy Land, and the first Christians when some followed Jesus Christ. Under Arab rule, the majority converted to Islam, but it is not a crime to change religion; and a religion that is a variation of the original religion.

If anyone is curious about the history. This was during ottoman rule, arab muslims, jewish people, and christians lived together in peace and saw each other as brothers. They didnt care about religion, they cared about ethnicity. Since they were all arabs they all got along. Then when the ottomans started to fall, Britain saw an opportunity. Britain paid arab nationalists who wanted to be independent from the ottomans to create their own country called paIestine. What did Britain pay them to do ? Payed them to fight the ottomans to accelerate the demise of the ottoman empire. Britain promised them "help us defeat the ottomans, and we will allow you guys to have independence" But of course Britain lied. After the ottoman empire fell and Britain took control of the region, they kicked many of the arabs (muslims, jewish, and christians alike) off their own land. Britain than gave that land to white european zionists, who wanted to create a jewish only state in the region. This of course upset the arabs who were displaced as well as their fellow arabs in the region. So the two sides kept fighting back and forth. This only became worse as the zios settlements expanded taking more and more land. Then WWll happened and massive amounts of white european jewish people came and settlementsexploded in numbers. Eventually, because of the zios, this became a religious war and we have the mess that exists today. Thanks Britain.

You have a lot of true history here, but you forgot to mention that the Ottomans were as opportunistic as the Europeans and the region felt oppressed by them as well. Also, in the following decades up to 900,000 Jews were also displaced from the surrounding Arab countries where they had lived since the time of Christ or before.

The fact is that it was very sparsely populated for hundreds of years. It was the same in the country that is now called Jordan- mainly wandering Bedouin tribes through the huge desert areas without borders. You can see from these photos that even the great city of Jerusalem has no crowds but often empty streets.
