You don't bend the spring tab, it bends out of the way on it's own. Australia has mainly these fittings and bulbs.

Hey mate, im looing for the t1.5 leds but I can't for the life of me find anything

Use a T3 size as this will fit. You can also get any old cheap T10 and just remove the led from the base and unbend the wires. When you go replace the bulbs in the climate control, remove the bulbs from the base and swap them out with the leds. Just rebend to fit into the old bases. I had to do that myself as the T3 bases were too thick.

Hmm thanks, the only issue is that I'm missing two of the bases for the buttons lol. I've ordered some T3 so i'll see how I go. Thanks

Thanks. A passenger courtesy light went pop in my R34 and this is very similar. I was worried about snapping one of the clips but this vid helped me out.

hello did the actual heater and ac work when the lights were out?

Yes. The lights have nothing to do with those functions. You can have no lights and be able to use the buttons. I'd suggest if your controls don't work to get a second-hand climate control unit.

Very nice. I've done my ones in red to match the stereo, car and digital dash clocks. I've yet to replace the LCD ones.

any idea how big the rear boot interior lamp is? is it 31mm?

So the centre light (I'm assuming that's the one you mean) that turns on when you open the door (the bigger one) dimensions of the LED is used is below. They're quite easy to find on Ebay. It's a 48x SMD LED. It comes with all the adapters. I believe the exact outer dimensions were 70mm by 50mm and this below fits just right without too much room to spare. All these LEDs come with an adhesive backing by 3M which sticks really well so it lets you position it where you want and it'll stay in place. 48 LED SMD light dimensions (as shown on Ebay) Width: approx3.8cm/1.5inch Height: approx5.9cm/2.3inch

theraque1 He meant the boot lamp. Aka the trunk lamp.
