Cool idea, bad video. Not trying to be mean, but many of the comments praising this probably didn't even try to make it. After cutting off and attempting to sew the part for the arms, i realised i was supposed to sew two pieces together and not four. I had to redo the whole thing, and that was fine, but then i realised that this tutorial didn't even show how to make the neck and front part. It was a reallt great idea but many small details and explanations were sadly not included

Hi there! :) Thank you so much for your words, I’ll keep them in mind for future videos. I wish I had more attention to details like that, but I’m an amateur trying to show how I make my own clothes. Thanks for watching tho 🤍
@suer61038 ай бұрын
@thepolkadotter everyone who watched this is still waiting for you to make the video you said you would, showing how you sewed the neck area. We're still waiting. I find this video one of the poorest on the internet. Anyone who knows how to sew can sew a straight line! They can fold over double for a hundred miles & sew a hem! But when they ask for an instruction video on how to do the neck b'c it is a curve, you seem to want to keep that to yourself. Why bother making the video in the first place?? Like I said, this is the absolute worst!

Culottes are so comfortable. Depending on the fabric used they are so cooling in the hot summers. My go to style when not in trousers.

Anyone wondering about the sleeve length, the creator said it’s 30cm by 30cm, or 50cm by 30cm if you want longer sleeves. However, lots of commenters had issues with the neckline… the creator said she was going to make a video explaining it, but apparently no video has been created since. Just FYI before you start this project!

Best way to adjust for plus size? I see the length adjustment, but what’s the best way to figure out what size you need width wise?

I see how you skipped right by sewing the neck hem part. When you have the cut right up the middle it's easy to fold the hem over all the way up but what do you do when you get to the end of the split??? How do you finish it so it doesn't eventually rip. Please please show how you do this.
