For a stealthier and less light visible version at night you can go with the traditional circular hole that is deeper and can be concealed closer or even in a shelter. Great video though, keep it up.

Jon, your videos inspired me to get out into the woods.. they also inspired me to cook more than just canned food outdoors.. ive made roasts, bangers and mash and much much more than i ever would have thought of.. i even made a stock pot oven like you had done many many times.. i made an apple pie in it... was great on a cool fall evening. what im getting at here is your videos were an inspiration to so many of us and really hope you will find the love for making videos again.. i have a strong feeling you havent quit camping, just quit filmmaking.. that too was an inspiration.. i hope comments like these in turn inspire you to come back to us.. you are so missed... the youtubes just isnt the same without you. plus you are so close to 100k subs.. you deserve that button.
