Your winter is much different, you have green grass, and flowers. Here in Iowa plants have turned brown and dead, also we have 6 inches of snow on top of it. So glad to see you out and camping.

Always great to see Tyson playing around. Happy your new year is off to a good one and I hope your daughter is doing great. I’ve forgot how amazing bacon (especially the fat) is when you cook the bacon on coals like that. I usually hate the fat unless it’s properly rendered like that.

Great to see you & Tyson back out in the countryside again John. I just love the reaction you and your gorgeous doggy have with each other. You showed us the tares and holes in your tarp. You can easily do some repairs on it using Gaffa type tape and good adhesive type glue. I use Gorilla Glue which is activated with water and a cheap tape from Poundland. as the tape is much thinner than the more expensive types it will remain flexible as will the Gorilla glue if used thinly. I always put a length of tape on a small stick so I have some to hand if needed for emergency repairs. Just a thought mate as it might save you a few quid in the future.. Keith

I’ve been thinking of getting a dd hammock. I’ve got one of them eBay double hammocks with the bug net. It’s done mell with my ddxl tarp and under and over quilts. I like the set up boss.
