This definitely looks like someone's been watching Tim Burton's early works.

I thought this was just Blender animation made to look like puppets, similar to WorthiKids or that Scooby Doo FNAF thing, so definitely surprised to see actually puppeteers and camera operators listed in the credits.

There’s a Muppet vibe to this. Mose resembles Crazy Harry, always blowing things up. Henson collected novelty songs like this and used them on SAM & FRIENDS and his later series. Always admired the work of the Chiodo Bros.

Hi! Mysterious Mose was part of Spike & Mike at the end of it's film festival run. The film's debut was at the Slamdance Film Festival way back in 1999. 😁👍🏽

In a lot of ways, the Flintstones: On the Rocks was more of a lookback at 1950s/60s Americana values and aesthetics as much as a tribute to the original show.

I've just recently discovered this original song. I've always known the tune from the Porky Pig cartoon "Wholly Smoke". This has very strong Spike Jones vibes, especially with Mose driving his jalopy up and down the hills. I'm also seeing some influence from Jack Benny's Maxwell (as "voiced" by Mel Blanc) in that part.
