Damn I wish they would release Flintstones: On The Rocks on DVD! I still don't understand why they never have. It was easily the best of all the Flintstones productions.

I think it has to do that it was too adult for their target audience. Still this movie is a masterpiece and if the Snyder Cut could make it, then lets make WB bring back this movie in full HD

Now I get why some of the current Flintstones Pebbles Cerrel commercials are done in stop-motion: to pay tribute for this classic!

In a lot of ways, the Flintstones: On the Rocks was more of a lookback at 1950s/60s Americana values and aesthetics as much as a tribute to the original show.

I positively loved this! Creative, fun, honors the classic toon, may whoever made this continue on to even more creative successes!!!!

The Flintstones: On the Rocks was William Hanna and Joe Barbera's last collaborative Flintstones-related project.

This movie seriously needs to be on boomerang, dvd or any streaming service. I had this recorded on vhs but eventually threw all my recorded tapes away and I’ve regretted it ever since.

This was very out-of-character for the Flintstones, because it had a lot of dialogue-less moments. In the original series, there was hardly a moment when Fred would ever shut up. But I did enjoy the ending where (SPOILER ALERT) the mystery lady turns out to be an undercover cop, and Fred won't stop repeating "You're a cop?"

this rocks! they should've done the whole movie in stop -motion & released it in theatres..i would've paid to see it 3 times & bought the dvd release!.. speaking of which, has cartoon network released this on dvd or vhs? i want a copy so bad that i can taste it! ..oh, one more thing...don't get married! it starts out really cool & then many years later, it 's nothing but stress & drama..stay single! there's nothing in it for you if you're a guy! stay single!..flintstones on the rocks, indeed!
@easystreetroland5 ай бұрын
Almost true. One thing that IS in it for you is kids.
@cornbreadthedog5 ай бұрын
Actually, it's a crapshoot. There's no 100% guarantee that your kids will love you or respect you or really truly appreciate anything that you've done for them. I was with my kids and their mother since day one. I grew up without a father, so I wanted to really be there for them. Never missed birthdays, holidays. Took them to every cartoon, Disney, Nickelodeon, Pixar, DreamWorks movie that came out. Bought and cooked every meal! Cleaned and drove them to and from school. Worked two jobs and still spent time with them. Worked nights and did without sleep so that I could be with them during the day, and so that no one could hurt them or try to take advantage them. I even gave them the house that they're living in today. They were babies in that house. It's all that they've ever known. How could I look them in their little eyes and take it from them with divorce lawyers and courts? But 20 years later, they don't even love me or respect me or even call me to see if I'm dead or alive. And we're right here in the same city! But their no-good mother perfectly brainwashed them against me because she was cheating with her co-workers and didn't want to come home to me and didn't want to be married anymore. I was homeless in my car for 3 years so that my children wouldn't have to be. 3 years to pay off attorney fees, courts and child support! But they didn't give a rat's behind and still don't to this day! My oldest daughter got married two years ago. She didn't tell me or invite me. But her adulterous and crazy mama was in every photo smiling like God's NOT going to come for her. So, by my count, 18 years and 400 grand down the drain. So, yeah, NOT having kids? Way MORE peace of mind, way MORE money in your pockets and WAY LESS DRAMA! Stay single and child-free, kings! Them man-hating courts and crooked white judges are all totally against you.
