I went two cards and got the weapons to OB5. I think I'll get the weapon to OB6 via weapon parts when they eventually give us some free general weapon parts for Cid as I'm not far away from another 200 right now. I've gone two cards mostly because I like the look of the outfit and I don't want to have a useless character on the roster if I can help it. Enfeeble is really really nice if you have it so far and can easily be felt, but there's nothing you can't do without it. Still, zero regrets.

Who do you think Yuffie is refering to at 14:30 ? After Rebirth I would think Glenn, but this is the OG storyline...

Awesome guide, I managed to break the 900k score, was trying to get below 50 was at 79, currently now 52, probably going to be overtaken by Dolphin and Whales but as long as I stay between 51 - 100, i'll be happy. Tweaked the second party slightly with (Tifa, Aerith and Zack) as I went for Tifa's new outfit (was broke when her Fire Arcanum outfit came out) and have been slowly building up her Shell Knuckles got them at OB8 - 820% potency. I learnt my lesson from prior LB banners and went all out on the new gear for Aerith (Crimson Staff OB6, Terra Rod OB10) and Tifa (Daffodil Gloves OB7), I just hope this is not a recurring theme cause there has been quite a few LB banners and with Cid around the corner, I am trying to save my crystals 😅

I cleared Materia Guardian 200 with a pretty different composition than you but more or less the same idea. I'd love to see a clear of Zetant Ratel 200 by just anyone really, that fight is really tedious given the adds that are functionally unkillable given the ranking fight modifiers.

The framerate being tied to X is a classic issue in games and it makes a lot of sense based on things that I've heard from other games beyond what were mentioned in the video. What nags at me is that keyboard inputs are accepted faster than mouse inputs when returning from a cinematic attack due to the icons needing to fully return to the screen before they can be clicked. For something that seems to be designed as mobile-first, the benefits to playing on PC shouldn't be so great. When it comes to purchases, I agree that if someone is willing to spend enough at once to get a pack that includes weapon parts, that's the way to go. No crystal boost, no tickets, forget that stuff. Get the ensured upgrades where you want them. They offer those too far in between still for each character, and while I don't track this, I think it's weighted away from the popular characters and more to characters that have at best one limited weapon if that.

In my opinion, not worth! i beat stage 160 or 150 and above just for 300 crystal more, no thx.

I didn't think it was allowed to complete battles for guild mates or friends... I usually don't really care for crash battles but this one I wanted so bad because Sephiroth is my favorite character of all time. This fight consumed me for days... I worked incredibly hard to beat this. It's a bit dissapointing to know that some people got it undeservedly. I'm really dissapointed that the mobile version was bugged as well, and that this lasted only for a week. They induced insane fomo in me and I didn't appreciate that. All those rankings, guild battles, non stop limited banners are also sapping the fun out of this game sometimes. It is getting a bit too competitive for my taste. Really enjoy your videos!

I believe if I had Tranquility I would have made it despite the glitch. I hope they pay attention next time, and I hope this event returns since it was the most awesome battle so far 💪

Mobile player here to rant about sephiroth crash. Does anyone else get the visual bug on your atb bar after using jubilation? How about trying to activate summons during his charge phase only for the not to register at all. I could go on and on, and a lot of these issues aren't new 😤

Frame rate advantages and disadvantages are always lame. Had similar issues with SLA. Better frames gave better damage.

Developers need to reduce the delay on actions. Image people in an MMO like FFXIV dealing with the delay that ever crisis players do.

This was easy for me I powered through all of the bosses 😂 I also never use summons one thing i noticed is your not using cloud to his full ability. If I was you I would lead with attack with the bahamt weapon to give cloud haste then you could use him to attack like crazy

Notable: Buff/Debuff extension is also useful for his LB2. You can get 100% uptime on the debuffs with extension + gilded age, especially since the 60% is on top of 200% from the R ability. He can be a good support that ignores immunity, but that's suuuper primo. I personally used that strategy for Brutal B30 and know someone who cleared C3 Sephiroth with his LB2 as well as an offdps/support hybrid, but if you do that you *main* main Vincent. If an f2p touches this banner they should be going for outfit and leaving IMO. Kugelblitz is straight up not worth for people who are not ranking fiends, it can just get wishlisted later. 750% aoe with an mdef debuff is pretty sizable even without the earth buff on someone like Vincent with many good dps options- it's the best aoe NE perma in phy or mag we have, but pales in comparison to the likes of Protector's Blade (or even BGS/Sabin if we include phys.) However, I'll note that 62 matk + earth pot *sucks* for him specifically because there are no Atk + Earth Pot subs, so he has to run 2 Matk subs or just not cap out in a full OB10 build. Or run HP in harder content with the likes of Wizer rod. Good analysis! Here's hoping f2p skip or get the costume and leave- it's not worth going deep with Cid in a week.

I agree with the assessment. While Vinnie's got a few different buff/debuff weapons, his best attribute has become being a DPS, especially for magic earth if someone went in on the initial banner. I picked up his limited stuff and have White Dog at OB7, but given how the game's been releasing limited banners, it feels pretty difficult to pull on a non-limited one. I'm patient and can figure out something for this battle ranking as is. Great wishlist weapon for me, move on.

I was planning on going ALL in on Vincent during his launch I wound up not pulling costumes past his earth Arcanum as I just happened to have most of the weapons he was getting covreed, so ive been waiting to spend his 150 or so purple ticekts. I think I may finally spend them, once this weapon enters the pool since his earth is still the only thing I have good for him. (I wishlisted his Kuja, magic crossobw, and sub stat magic shotgun as well)

Luckily it's a very skippable banner, I only have 37k left after the new years banner and it'll probably all go to Cid if he has a good banner weapon/outfit.

Lol, i naively thought i could have a chance with my 375k team just because i could finaly defeat Sephiroth at Crash 2.

NOTE: sorry for a late note but I wanted to address the Cura issue on mobile. It's not strictly a mobile issue but what causes Cura being so very inconsistent is game being at 30fps, which mobile is locked to. I wasn't aware of the issue at all but we've tested it and fps is the problem. My friend who did it on mobile said that switching battle to Semi just before Octaslash helped to make Cura go off more often because on Semi it automatically targets character to heal and it's slightly faster - it's nowhere near consistent but it increases the chance of working. I tested it on steam and at 60fps it's 100% consistent for me but when I switched to 30fps it became just as inconsistent and unreliable as on mobile. It's very unfortunate and I can only guess that devs maybe tested the battle on 60-120fps and assumed it would work the same? I wish this issue wouldn't exist or hopefully they'll modify it (giving it a second longer before that second Octaslash Prime should solve it on 30fps) and bring the battle back, so everyone can have a chance because Cura between Octaslashes seems to be 100% intended. Very sorry for everyone stuck with this issue.

I find the amount of limited banners more annoying and a touch concerning. I don't know how widespread the amount of players quitting the game because of the limited banners, but I trust that there are a few. As a mini-spender, it doesn't really change my position or spending too much. Yet, I can see someone in a different mindset, or someone who enjoys different things about the game and tries to spend accordingly, yeah, I can see them getting overwhelmed and thinking they need to back away. So far, I've not seen anyone in my top 100 guild complain about extensively, nor has anybody leave the game because of the limited banners directly. For me, the more annoying thing is that they're continuing to give us a decent amount of free x10 pulls, but with so many limited banners, the general pool of weapons is becoming full of weapons I already have OB10'd. I imagine it's that much worse for players who spend more than I do. I think a combination of having fewer limited banners and allowing for a personalized thinning of the general pool (within their preset limit of course to keep it proper gambling...) would be a good enough fix to this, but that's still probably far off. I'll be pulling for Tifa's outfit at the very least. I've got close to 90k and was hoping to save directly for Cid's likely Limit Break banner, but I don't have an arcanum at all for Tifa, just her FFIX, FFVI, and 1 year anni oufits. The "all-element" outfit is perfect to cover everything else. Aerith's outfit would be nice, the weapons look great, but I gotta get Cid something so he doesn't just collect dust forever. That's how I like to play.

That’s pretty much why I quit the game. Could see it just getting more, and more predatory because it’s Final Fantasy VII, the cash cow, and it’s stressful than enjoyable in the long run. Too much limited. Bad enough with the costumes being limited, but they’re adding so much squeeze in just one year of the game being out. Square have already lost mostly all their other mobile titles on global but this and WotV, so it’s only going to be downhill from here. Glad I quit though, as I have more time for other games that don’t cost so much to enjoy on console. I’d rather spend the money on Square merchandise and have something for life than whenever they decide to flip the switch and it’s all gone.
