Hello do you work on wood? I have a PRS SE hollowbody neck that needs thinning out, can you help?

I’ve had a US Silver Sky for about six months and it’s the first “Strat” type guitar where I haven’t had it HSS (honestly it’s been Fenders and I’ve just bought them HSS 😂). I will probably end up dropping a stacked Humbucker like a Seymour Duncan Little 59 in there, but for now, I’m not playing out at the moment and have enough guitars that it’s not a “Need”. Two years ago playing every week, I would have done it already. I won’t route the body though, just can’t go there, I would want it reversible, even though the SS is a keeper. Maybe an SE as a project would be cool!

Your 2nd position is having phase cancellation issues with the reverse wound, reverse polarity single coil and the 2 humbucker coils. Trickier to fix in a 2-conductor pickup, which is what Gibson says T-Types are on their product page. It's harder to do this electronically, so most people flip the magnet in the humbucker. I can't see how you wired it and normally I recommend changing potentiometer to 500k for humbuckers and adding a resistor so the single coils interact as 250k. How do the middle and neck positions sound before and after?

I've got a lend of one presently. I would prefer the option of a humbucker as you've done. It's a very comfortable guitar to play. The mods you've made make sense and look good. That black! I have a Squire Affinity HSS which in a lot of ways ticks all the boxes for a third of the cost. And it sounds great..

Hi, I own several of the Void pedals and was wondering if you have ever experienced a low pulsating hum when in circuit. I've used the supplied power supply, which seems to make the hum louder. But even on battery power it's present. When you are playing it isn't noticeable. But if you have to pause your playing during recording it can be heard. Is the hum part of the design? Also the foot switch makes quite a loud noise when engaging. I'd like to know if you or any of your listeners have experienced this.

Thanks for proposing also Mic+Line in the comparaison, a usefull detail. On paper, that Martin model chech so many boxes! Except, the Fishman sonitone that sounds bad here, up to me.. I'd like to check in real condition if it sounds good like a spruce GS mini, mainly the basses, which are not sounding so good in that video, but maybe that's normal also for that body size with mahogany. Those two guitar can be compared, considering budget and body size.. All solid woods and better look for the Martin, but better piezzo sound for Taylor..

The reason smaller guitars sound just as loud in a quiet acoustic room is that it takes less energy to vibrate the tops of those small guitars, it won’t be as loud as the bigger guitars strummed harder and heavier gauged strings.

Dig it. Sounds nicer than the 2 Breedlove Companion solid wood guitars I have. Probably trade one in for one of these.

Is the fret and neck smaller than a full guitar? I have problems with F,B and Cmin because my fingers are short. I like the way this guitar sounds thats why I havent got the GS mini yet. Figure maybe this jr Martin can be for small fingers as well.

Always want to buy a standard 000jr but I've never got on board with the richlite used for the fretboard and bridge. This one I would buy. Even if it's a Shawn Mendez signature. Still cool that it's got ebony wood. Full solid body's on these jrs
