Hello, I can try to help! This VAE valve is really bad, but it is only used for cold starts and air conditioning, the idle speed has a screw on the throttle body that needs to be adjusted. Regarding the brakes, remember to bleed all the calipers and even bleed the clutch actuator, as this will ensure that there is no air in the system. The TPS sensor can be adjusted to have more idle speed and also more or less power in the engine, it is not the cause of the idling problem, but test it with the multimeter on the ohm scale and see if the resistance is continuous, without any errors on the tracks within the TPS. The relief valve is connected to the vacuum hose that goes to the intake manifold, if so, that's correct. Well that's it for the moment, I have the same engine but it has FuelTech 500 which helps a lot with the setup, especially the turbo. Good luck, I hope I helped with something! Att. Can the crankshaft of the 1.8 be machined? I know the one on the 2.0 16v shouldn't be as the hardened layer is too tin. Did the engine last after the repair?

Hello Mate i have a Coupe with your same setup and I am machcanic , you have one piece mounted wrong that could create this issue , ( in your intake manifold on the left side ,you have the air sensor hidle that should mounted in horizontally and not vertically ) check the manual ( if not clear I can send you an email with a pic how should mounted) PS don`t forget to map the car with the test bench , Good luck , enjoy your time

Good job, can you tell me why oil and gasses go back into the air inlet ?? This causes build up of carbon etc as you know. So why is it not directed like you have done back into the sump ? Im thinking of adding catch can to my BMW F22, but am thinking why do manufacturers not re circulate it back into engine ?

Great work and result, I myself became the happy owner of a Cuope 2.0 16V from 1995, how wonderful to drive it and hear the fantastic engine, it brings back memories of when I had a Lancia Beta Cuope 1.8 from 1976, it's almost the same feeling of being at one with the car and the road. I would like the nice instrument you made in one of your other videos, is it one that can be bought from you?
