Oh wow Leigh, thank you for making my long life keto milk recipe. I was so interested to learn how you make ice-cream with it. Sorry for the delay in watching your video, I have been unwell.
@leighleighskitchenКүн бұрын
It worked much better compared to other KETO milks. I watched your livesteam Sunday. Glad your feeling better. I broke my ankle Grand Final weekend so havent been in the kitchen too much myself.

@leighleighskitchen oh no I'm sorry to hear that...so painful. Yay ...oh also... you could sweeten the milk if it tastes like cream cheese. I let mine cure in the fridge for a week and I found it takes the taste away
@leighleighskitchenКүн бұрын
You dont even notice it in the ice cream and it doesnt make it icy either. But i do plan to do some experimenting making cream cheese with home made greek yoghurt and using that to make the milk. It might make it more neutral for the lattes.

I can’t wait to try your recipes. I made a “fail” keto ice cream with cottage cheese because it was the only dairy I had in my fridge when I received my Ninja Creami, unless someone else has a great cottage cheese ice cream, I don’t plan on using it again. Another thing I noticed about my ice cream was that it was not as sweet as I thought it would have been, I will add extra sugar next time. I’ve heard that sugar tends to get less sweet once it has reached a certain cold temp.
@leighleighskitchen21 күн бұрын
Trust me it takes a few attempts. You'll get there! I like to use allulose. It is great in ice cream but you do need to add about 25% extra as its not so sweet. Straight erythritol works great too if you cant get allulose.

initially i was looking to add some sweeteners but then i figured if i can get about 5-10 differently flavored protein powders and i can actually use them as a sweetener because they are already too sweet and flavored without added sugar. Plus side is you get some protein and they are incredibly tasty on their own. Im not sure about other brands but myprotein has at least 20 different flavors which is more than what i need. Lately ive been a fan of cream and biscuits flavor its so good!

There's definitely so many ways you can make your ice cream in the ninja creami. I try focus on ingredients I already have but I have heard protein powder works great in it.

Speak a bit louder and more clearly..if necessary add the voice later.. 3. Try to take the video clip while cooking from a bit further.. You will make to big bro good luck..❤❤

put your cottage cheese in a small strainer or cheese cloth to get the excess liqued out. I have also tried adding about 2 TBLS of coconut flour for a firmer wrap without the 'wet' of the plain cottge cheese. Good luck, you are just like the rest of us trying to find decent alternatives along this journey!

The dough with chicken breast is not eatable. It's to dry and just not tasty to eat.
@leighleighskitchen3 ай бұрын
I didn't find it dry at all. You want to cook it until it its set and slightly golden. This might depend as well if you have used canned chicken or home shreeded chicken.
@b0stj4n3 ай бұрын
@@leighleighskitchen Where I live, there is no canned chicken (thank god). I shredded the breasts myself. Maybe I over baked them.

@@b0stj4n Canned chicken isnt too popular here too. Maybe poach chicken in some water until it is just cooked.
