Are these able to be used in 1/10 4wd buggies? I'm just getting into the rc hobby and would like this for my new re release Kyosho Optima Pro build.

Quick question. So for the factory team steering bracket I was having an issue with the bearings that came with being a different size width and was making the arms able to move up and down. I couldn’t find bearings that fit the hat perfectly so that didn’t happen so I ended up switching back to the plastic steering since the spacing between the bearings isn’t smaller than the hat is that a common problem people have had?

Thank you for the video, very informative. When you changed to the -2 caster link mount what does the link measurement change to?

I am new to RC cars in general having only built a few small crawlers. The RC10B7D was my first race car - ever. I finished the roller by following along with these videos and referencing the manual. Seriously, I could NOT have done this without your help, Spencer. Thank you so much for making these videos. I would have fowled things up in a major way without your guidance and suggestions. Looking forward to getting the electronics in next, then painting (I am worried about that part).

Cheers for the series down under! 🇦🇺 I noticed on this build you didn't use the Protek caged thrust bearing set (PTK-2026) which in your diff build vid you did, any reason? Thanks

Looking at getting back into buggy racing big time. Is there a chance that there's gonna be a B7.2 anytime soon? Seems every time i get a new kit, a updated version comes out...lol.

Im curious but how many kits do you go through a year? Do you build new cars for big races and send back the used cars for research/ data? From an engineering standpoint I can imagine there is quite a bit of information that could be aquired from post race tear downs and inspections.

That’s racing bro. Little bubble goes long on Rc racing. I have notice only on nitro you have time to come back goes there main is long. They should make mains for electric up to 13min. max 15 min. Long.

Hello Spencer, what advice can you give me on concentration while racing? I've jumped back into racing after 30 years. Started with Mini-Z so I could get my hand eye coordination back so I can jump into 10th and later 8th scale racing. I was leading a 13.5 4wd B Main and lost concentration for a split second going over a table top and ended up all wrong. Finished 3rd due to my mistakes at the end of the race. Was pretty stupid thing on my part.

With the -2mm tower B7 how to achieve -2 eyelet? Add internal limiters?

Need to find progresive springs . I used them 25 years ago when I was racing on my Back yard trac. They sure helped on the jumps.

Spencer I have a question about shock shaft length. When measuring from bottom of shock body to top of eyelet end are you getting the measurement with or without up limiters if they’re being used. Thank you!!
@gottdirtt
@gottdirtt 15 күн бұрын
So would you have to add limiters to the front shocks since stock it’s already has 0 eyelets? Wouldn’t adding 2mm limiters then affect the overall stroke?

Great video man! I been still struggling with brake points on the track. Dirt I'm okay on just carpet I struggle the most. I'm not sure if you've done it but video on driving on carpet? brake points? Go over more settings on the radio? The thing you talked about at Island took about half a second off my lap times. Also driving fatigue is real. I been practicing to the point where I get burned out. so any tips on getting past that would be ideal. Specially with the roar nats at island this year. main goal is make the Amain.

I have a question why grease back of diff rings? I’ve raced since I was a kid I’m 50 now. We used to super glue rings on diff cups. I do race oval. Not sure if that is difference

Once again thank you for giving out your knowledge and expertise. I'm in the UK and we during the winter are racing out side on wet astro often even driving while it is raining. Could you please help us with a video that gives us the best settings for these track conditions. Have a great Christmas and New year.

Great video. Probably one of the best you have done. You explained thing’s clearly and easy to understand. With an infinite amount of adjustments on current race buggies it can be a bit much for someone to understand what changes to make to get the outcome that want. Can you please do a video on the back of the car. Understanding rear camber thinks can be very confusing. Rear hub height. What anti squat really does.

Great video! Thank you! Honestly these kinds of simple break downs of "This does that, and this is why" are sorely missing in the RC community. With all the new cars and newer technology coming out on a near yearly cycle now, it is hard for us mere mortals to keep up with the geometry and set up changes. The 6.3 to 6.4 had a decent learning curve, and the 7 is a whole other animal entirely, so anything that makes it easier to understand, and provides good setup help, is much appreciated! Having this kind of information on the general direction of set up on the car, is super helpful! And it may just keep me from bugging you as much at the track 😉 (thats a lie, I'm totally still going to ask you dumb questions 😂)

Great info! 👍 I would love to see these changes incorporated into the kit, with stock parts AND optional steering arms/shock towers included and, while you're at it, more tuning info in the manual (and not just online). I think the B7 platform has been maligned because of the time and money people have had to invest in the car.

Listening to Spencer saying if you race at these few tracks go with this chassis, if you race at those few tracks use this chassis, while tears are running down my cheeks!! Where I live, the nearest track is a 200+ mile round trip, what I would give to have several tracks to choose from! Color me envious Mr. Rivkin.

Great information. Was curious about the chassis length and your answer was exactly the info i was wondering. This kind of video is great and helps me understand what some of the small changes make. Really appreciate you taking the time to do them. It’s made my experiences with the B7D that much better.
