Hi Phil. The cheek plates on the first MTO Sport shown - it looks to me like they give you the choice of either flying a MT-03 or a MTO Sport? (I have a MTO Sport that used to be a MT-03)

Those rotors should be secured. They're an accident waiting to happen.

Can anyone tell me why there are no 3 blade smaller diameter rotors on the 2 seat calidus (for example). Seems to me stick shake would be less w/3 blades. Also, I have read where there has been little improvement in gyrocopter blade tech in the last 80 yrs. Why is this when the rotor disk is the single most drag producing feature keeping autogyros to a limit of around 90mph cruise speeds? I'd buy one in a second if u could comfortably cruise at 120. A person could actually use it to GO somewhere rather than just fly around slowley "for fun". Answers anyone?

very good presentet ! why then the rotor cant speed up more for having a faster lift off like bushplanes...then this would be best 50-60 meter pull up..

Fabulous video! Best I've come across - informative, humorous and really good production. Are you still operating (asking as your video was 3 years ago)? I'm based in portugal and looking into the possibility of learning to fly - dont suppose you have any contacts for over here?

Wait what? You can glide down at landing speed with NO engine power?! I was considering a paramotor to learn how to fly but this looks way more fun.

The laws of aerodynamics? No. Much simpler than that. If an aerofoil deflects air downwards it gives lift if it deflects it backwards it gives rotation. Angle of deflection depends on angle of attack which decrease moving outward on a rotating blade as the airspeed increases. Apart from the gobbledegook the rest was brilliant as ever. Thank you.

@@kojack635 Yes I know it’s cheap but it’s still a death trap. The FAA should have known better than to license it.
