Gaylord Perry looking like Eddie Harris, the greaseballer in Major League... Coincidence? No chance! 🙂 Congrats on that Gwynn, I grew up watching him in SD in the 80's, good times.

I'm a casual card collector and even I have a box of these lol I'm not Mr baseball but I enjoy the hobby. I love how you inject humor into these. My very first set was 1990 donruss as a kid. While "junk" it started my interest in cards so I like it. But some of the names made me laugh. I remember laughing with my buddy at 8 years old at one guys name: "oil can boyd" 😂 I realize now it's a nickname but then as a kid I wondered who names thier kid that?

Hey this was really cool to watch and, man, your jokes are really funny too! I think it might be time to try to go for more elites again in this 91 series two donruss. I have to say though that the dark green borders look way better than the blue for some reason and I think the Grandslammers green bonus cards you can only get in the rack packs which makes them rarer I think. yeah rare, I know. I think you should give it another try though especially since you can get a box of these for dirt cheat. Also, look over your cards because any really well centered and sharp ones, even commons can grade out a PSA 10 real easily.

At one point in 1991, I worked at a card shop, and we couldn't keep the French versions of these cards in stock. Prices went thru the roof for a bit to around $15/ pack. I sold Bure and Federov rookies (pack fresh) for $150 - $175 each. Crazy times.
